I had a similar issue. The best thing to do is to add a second "display" (like a second computer monitor or a small TV). Under your computer's "Display Settings" menu you will have to change/check a couple things. Under the "Multiple Displays" option, make sure you have the option "Extend these displays" checked. Next, under the second screen option, change the display type from landscape to portrait (you may need to turn the second screen on its side for ease of access). The Onigiri Settings menu will then be available to you.

You can also delete the cobra folder in %appdata% to reset the game's settings.
