Can't open partner screen in certain fields

Is there any reason as to why I can't open my partner menu in certain fields? My friend and I are playing, and we noticed that we can't open our partner menus (namely Izumo). Any help would be appreciated

Seems they have fixed it in the recent update:

Patched Issues
- The partner window is now accessible in Izumo and Oosumi Plains North.
- The dungeon rankings are now viewable.
