onigiri launcher/game not working

so seems the game isn't loading at all for just PC. steam is fine though. but both me and my friends games are not launching saying the games are running already or the launcher failed both have uninstalled/reinstalled and even fiddled with some settings and nothing has worked. i tried on other computers as well to only get the same result.

is this a common issue or anyone else experiencing it? i do not want 3 years of game play and collecting to just up and vanish since i have not played since launch on steam and switch i will have missed out on a lot of the characters and items i already collected on pc.

Please regard my post in general discussion. I've conducted an investigation about this. PC and Xbox One are both decommissioned at the moment. Subreddit is also down. PS4 and the crossplay versions are still up. CS has said nothing yet. I'm getting as many people as possible to spread the word about this craze.
