Do Revivals and Resurrections Degrade Your Scores?

Greetings!
Please bear with me because I'm 5 months new in MMOs asking what might be obvious to others!
Somehow, maybe mostly from frenzied slashing in subquests and the monster infested fields on the other side of the bridge, I managed to fluke from level 1 to 5 in a day, after using LOTS of resurrection and revival tokens. I totally used up my 5 soul eggs too! My question is, does using those resurrection features and items degrade your true total score or "level points", compared someone who doesn't use them? (Maybe I shouldn't ask, but where's the best way to stock up on revival spells??)
Also, I noticed in YouTube clips of Oni games that there are lots of "level 1"s who act like Jedi Knights in a playground in some level 5 and 6 dungeons where I'm stuck. They clear all monsters out under a minute like a 4th of July tornado!! It's kind of breathless to see players mowing down monsters so fast! (I gotta get a spear!!) Would I be right thinking that these are really seasoned level 50+ veterans who are creating totally new characters to see whether they can level up with zero pain and zero penalties or any use of revival spells? Do they get special Brownie points being "perfect" like that?
I'm still trying to get the hang of enhancing weapons and using all those complex Equip and Weapons windows to tweak your gear and abilities, and I almost wish the game had a kind of "ghost mentor" companion option who follows you along and gives you advice on everything you do and answers questions! That on-the-job training would really help uncomplicate some things!
Thanks for any answers!

;-; oh nuu leafy never use soul eggs unless it's an emergency or urgent. As in doing a long and hard dungeon and there is no way for you to do it anytime soon (ex having help that can only run with you one more time). It's better to just give up when you go to the point of using soul eggs. ^^ Save them for when you really need them.
Soul eggs will not take away your exp as when you die when using them your rank still be ss = 2x xp completion. :3
It's just normal means at the top that take that away which you should be using unless you just really want that 2x. XD Or find yourself being camped by a group of mobs and need that extra hp to take a hit and get out of there for a breath.
If you find yourself dying a lot take the time to learn mobs attacks and such. :3 Don't just evade the standard left and right. For example, an attacking duruma if timed right will always miss if they try to attack a person rolling towards them since they head butt frontal and leap forwards or use their broken hit box jumping attack.
But some mobs or bosses will need you to roll away in a direction. Also if a mob is too risky to roll on try and defend and it should help more unless the mob breaks your guard. ^^ (blocking costs sp) or if you have a wand. Close combat you wanna stay agile and not worry too much of finishing your combo as that will get you hit the most if it doesn't stun the mob much. Get to know your skills and learn when to best use them.
If your ranged just keep your distance as most mobs aren't really smart enough to avoid so they just run to their deaths for the most part. But keep a watch out between you and the mob as most can and will through things at you. Or shoot at you so always be ready to roll. Try to pull mobs one at a time (slow but it works) because being ganged isn't really good if your not too good at dodging.
You can use any weapon that is in your level range so when mobs are tough keep a bow or wand in hand for a little pulling.
Npc wise if your alone, up close your best bet will be lady shizuka since unlike the others she won't fallow you around. she won't take as much damage as she is usually using a skill to get some distance. Constant safe damage for the close combat. ^^ if you fight from a distance then use others like Yoshinute for their stuns on attack because outside of using skills bows and wands don't really stun that often and those extra seconds may be enough time for you to safely fire off your next skill.
When you see pictures of how things work read them carefully, I know you may just want to play the game and stuff but reading advice ingame really helps. ^^ not the loading screen but when the npcs add something else you can do. It's how i learned what everything does aside from liqour because i always skip that. lol I'll find that out someday when things get really tough.
Hope i helped. If you need help with any dungeon add me Raburesu. :3 I'll be happy to assist you.
I'm not on too often as i'm a early player/late night player. during the mid day or evening i'm resting my back.

While you can use Soul Eggs to revive you can only use them a certain number of times in a dungeon and then you got to resort to your three natural revives in the dungeon, your natural resurrect will degrade your score and xp bonus when clearing dungeons.
If your not used to using the regular default controls use a gamepad like an xbox 360 wired controller, it's almost as if the game was built with a controller in mind(B button on the controller let's you pick up items) though you still need your mouse for certain things.
Also if you want to enhance your weapon of choice beyond +10 when you get the smelting option you need that same exact weapon to increase it's strength, personally I think the game should allow atleast the same weapon type to increase the weapon strength but beggers cant be choosers

REALLY appreciate those encouraging tips, Kaibaman, thanks! I'll get to level 10 somehow!!!
