Account issues; email support is inadequate

Normally, I try to focus on the established support channels and not clutter a forum with a cry for help, but since there's now real admin activity happening here, I thought I might as well try.

On July 18, I found that I was unable to log into the Cyberstep website or forums with my usual account information.
I could still log into the game just fine (I had originally registered through the game client, back in closed beta).

I went through the Password Re-issue process, and entered my email address.
I received the password reset email, with an activation link.

I followed the directions and clicked on the activation link, and was taken to a page where I was asked to log in with the new temporary password given to me in the email.

The login attempt failed (Incorrect user ID or password).

I went through the password reissue request a second time, got a new email, and repeated the process.
Still unable to log in and activate.

On July 19th, I tried again. Same as above.

On July 20th, I tried again. Same as above.

On July 22, I tried again. Same as above.

Since I was unable to log in to my account here on the website, I created a new account (from which I am now posting) in order to continue to use the forums. I also finally decided to contact support through the Cyberstep website, and I submitted a ticket, explaining the problem.

A week later, I received this response from support:

Greetings from Onigiri Management Team!

Thank you for your inquiry regarding Onigiri.

It appears that your new password has not been verified.
Did you click on the link provided in the confirmation e-mail you received after submitting a new password from your account page?

You need to click the link to activate your new password.
If you do not select the confirmation link, your password will not be changed.

Please note that you cannot log onto the game with your temporary password.
In order to login to the game you must first:

1)Log onto the website with your temporary password
2)Set your new password.

If you need further assistance from us, please contact us again.

Thank you for your interest in Onigiri.
We hope to see you in-game soon!

Kind Regards,
Onigiri Management Team

I have been busy with work and didn't see the email for another week after it had arrived.

I tried again to request a password reissue from the website, in order to once more try and follow their suggested directions.

This time (on August 7), when I entered my email address into the user ID box and then entered the CAPTCHA code, it told me Account Not Found.

That was new.

Then I went to try to log into the game client, and I got the same message there.

I wrote back to support explaining what I had now experienced, asking for confirmation on the status of my account.

I don't want to wait another week for a reply.

Is it possible for any forum admin to investigate the status of my original Cyberstep account, which is also my game account?
I was not given a ticket number for my support case, but I can reveal my account id/email address via PM to an admin if there's anything you think you can do to help investigate.

Thank you.

They have not said anything besides their unhelpful first response, quoted in my first post...
Based on my experience with CS support so far, I do not expect to get a response for many days still.
That is why I decided to inquire here if I might be able to receive any assistance from the administrators of the forums.
