Game Eats my Recipes, Does not give associated menu options

I've encountered a bug with Ibaraki Douji's liquor forms, though it may be occurring with Yoshitsune or Kaguya if I just wasn't paying enough attention.

Essentially I will press give all when the character asks for recipes, then receive no update to the list of available liquors afterwards.

So far I lost two quest reward order forms in Kyouto from the starting quests that happen when you first reach the area, as well as the "Bandit Chief" Liquor on a second, different character.

I'd really like to know the cause of this or have it corrected for me whenever possible. Right now I'm afraid to turn in more recipes to any of the characters for fear of meaninglessly losing my items.

I noticed this too, I assumed it was just because I wasn't high enough friendship level yet to buy the alcohols as some appeared later (bandit king being one of them).
