Static Axe skill isn't working properly

Just before Onigiri's last update, which was hours ago, the skill Static axe worked perfectly fine. If it was level III or IV, you could combo with it, and each usage would hit and damage enemies.

That no longer happens. Now it only hits once, and the followup combo hits don't do any damage. It's not easy to see, since it's a screenshot, but here it is:

I just realized, after testing out my other weapons, that ALL skills that have combos no longer do the damage or hit as they should.

Needless to say, this isn't good.
