why can't I play any of my old characters!!!!

ok log in fine I go to chose character and chose fine loading screen come up 2 to 3 seconds in loading bar almost done kick back then goes up again dose this rapidly then stops suddenly I get error message saying onigiri.exe has stopped working how do I fix this... ( oh also when I create new player every thing works fine till the evacuation mission I get to the town or almost then get that same message ) please if this is known problem please tell me how to fix I love the game and am a new player haven't even gotten a new sword yet... any body any idea's? also when is the live help via instant messenger gona be open or even back up and running?
