Key items still in inventory after quest completed

For some reason, I still have the Teahouse Manjuu and Sadoshima Key in my inventory and I can't get rid of them. I can't talk to the NPCs who gave me the quest and I cleared Sado Mine a while ago yet I still have the key to get there.

I can't put them in storage or discard them, is there any way I can remove them from my inventory?

There is not, I've had those items since 2014 and i am still stuck with them, not sure how to get rid of them if there is any way, I think CS simply forgot about them because it's been years since they have done any changes to the early main quest.
