oh man, did you make it yourself? I bought an exorcism staff with the same setup only it didn't have crimson ray for 150oc. Is 500 the lowest you'll go or?

Also wanted to ask about your mag ornaments that i had seen in your youtube video (EE Run really nice btw) kingly raiments, what do you get out of it if you don't mind me asking.

Yep, i always make all of my wands/grind them.
I'll probably lower the price once I hit level 106/is finally able to use my satan golds. As of now, I'm seeing if i can get the most out of it, though 500 seems a bit much.
I sometimes still use it, and that's why I'm keeping the price a bit high. It's still useful for me, but i don't really NEED it anymore.


As for the magatama in the video, it was ran back then when Kingly Raiments still gave the ornament "Defense rate lowered" instead of "Guard effectiveness."

Back then, it actually lowered the mobs defense. If you noticed, Mobs took less damage the higher the level they were and this was due to the mob having very high defenses. Defense rate lowered essentially ignored a % of that and amplified your damage by a lot. That's why I was able to do effectively 30k more per skill when I had that ornament. However, now that it's changed, it's practically useless... :/



In comparison with the exorcism staff, i usually estimate that ougis are worth about 60~80 OC itself per, not to mention the seldomly seen evolved Crimson Ray. I do remember seeing that wand, and iirc, it didn't have Crimson Ray VI either. It's also significantly weaker than the Dogura Magura (I think). In any case, give me an offer and I'll get back to you. (I usually overshoot the prices for the sake of receiving offers anyways)

Making your own weapons just require grinding and patience. That's really it.


Regarding skills... Well, if anything, I usually just aim for skills that can lead up into a big move.
For example, as of now, I will still say Frost Glaive is probably the strongest wand skill we have outside of ougi, even more so when you can aim in the dead center of it where it can hit up to 3 times per pillar. However, it has a large cast time and a huge blind spot in between. To make up for that, I usually use a combination of Earth Glaive (or any other quick skill that makes up for the blind spot like Call Lightning or Hellfire) -> Frost Glaive to lead up to it.

My Gravitas has a weird setup, using Spiral Wind. Spiral wind itself is pretty weak, but it's great for setting up larger skills that require a long start up like Light of Destruction (Satan wand ougi/Mikuru beam). Do a fuujin/raijin -> Spiral Wind and you can practically follow up with any skill. I just think of them as a 1 2 (3) combo and set them up that way. Though, if you're not also a staff hybrid, i would suggest tossing out of your big skills and adding an Inferno V or something for the sake of a cheap clean up skill. It's kind of a waste to use 188 SP on a single mob that has less than 1/2 it's HP. Personally, I can dish out quite a bit of damage with Holy Pillar due to my hybrid skill force and affinity, but even so, SP is always gonna be the biggest issue for us mages.
