Level [50 - 80] exp and item grind Chat Group

Hello,

Seems like the more levels you do, the harder it gets to find similar level players with yours.

I've noticed that a lot of level 50+ players have trouble grinding exp (especially supports). The majority resort to either befriending a very high level player to carry them or they simply find a random group that happens to have a high level carry. Basically both involve a very strong bored player helping others lower than him/her.
This leveling method seems quite cheap in my opinion but apparently it's the only straightforward and easy way to level if you don't wanna get involved with more than 4 people of similar level with you..

I'm wondering if there's any chat group dedicated to mid-late tire of exp grinding ( approx. lvl 50-80). If there is, I would like to join it. If there's none, then I shall make one.

Note: Currently lvl 69 spear user. While I did make a few levels with the help of some random high level players, most of them where done thru soloing and with a friend of a similar level with me where I'd take the role of a full support.

Possible question:
"Why care if your levels are done by a very high level player or not?"
A: I'm not a "power player". I don't like to blandly deal 100k+ damage without going thru some hard work.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EDIT: Because of the info provided by the first few replies, I'll attempt to make a chat group dedicated to lvl 50-80 exp and item grinding.

UPDATE 1: SEARCHING FOR SOMEONE TO REPLACE ME

This limit has been chosen by me according to SupremeTentacle's thread about ideal grinding spots.

Since there is no default advertising chat zone, chat groups can be used to provide such thing...and this chat room will be focusing on exp and item grind

BIG NOTE: This is a work in progress. I'll be updating this thread or leave it to die depending on how well this goes.

Dungeons that will be focused on for leveling:
- Secluded forest
- Hermit Crab Grotto

(I don't know what dugeons are best for Golden Daruma grind. I assume it's Seculded Forest. For info about how to kill Golden Darumas, consult Dark Deceiver's guide)

Field bosses that are suited for leveling:
- Bloody Nyuudou (Sekigahara)
- Death Scythe (Nether Sekigahara)

Dungeons that are suited for item farm:
- Plover Pit ( for Orange Glass Marble)
(I'll be updating this section once I get full info on what items to focus on each dungeon. By now, I know that Orange Glass Marble is at a high demand and is wanted by any player either for magatamas or OC)

Rules:

- Be polite (don't be rude)
- Keep the drama as low as possible ("person x doesn't wanna do dungeons with me T^T" or other annoying stuff)
- No spamming (don't use constant sentences like"I DRINK CHOCOLATE CHICKEN AT NOON LEL o3o" or flood the chat)
- Don't steal field bosses from players who are already killing one that belong to this chat group. (Stealing from other people who don't belong to this chat group is your business)

Punishments - depending on the gravity or repetition of rules breaking:
- Warnings
- Kick out of the group

How to join:
Either:
1. Leave a reply in this thread with your IGN. I'll add you to friends or contact you via /w and invite you.
or
2. Add me or /w me in game and I'll invite you ASAP. My IGN: Nizuto

FAQ:
Q1: What happens if I'm part of the group and I get over level 80?
A: I'm not too sure. Theoretically someone should make a level 81+ chat group for you to join..

Q2: What happens if the chat group gets at the limit of 30 players?
A: I'll think of a solution once that happens.

Now here's some tips based on my experience. These aren't requirements. These are "benchmarks" to get an idea. It's advised to have better numbers than the ones stated.
Hermit Crab Grotto however has the requirement for the support to use Idaten's Grace or Ougi Rapid Storm for the carry.
All these tips assume that: 1 person carries, 1-2 people support, 1-2 people help the carry/support. This is just what seems to be popular. You can come up with your own tactics and roles.

Secluded Forest tips:
For supports:
~ Invigorate that can recover around 19 SP per tick
~ Heal that can recover ~500 HP
~ Cure that can recover ~1k HP
Optional: Idaten's Grace (any rank) or Ougi Rapid Storm (any rank)

For carry:
~ A weapon that can help you finish the dungeon in 8-9mins

For everybody:
~ A weapon with poison damage

Hermit Crab Grotto tips
For supports
~ mandatory: Idaten's Grace or Ougi Rapid Storm. There's a type of mob that almost instantly casts a water attack where the player is. Thus speed is mandatory for survival.
~ Invigorate that can recover around 20 SP per tick
~ Heal that can recover ~700 HP
~ Cure that can recover 1.8k HP

For carry:
-TBA-

For everybody:
~ A weapon with poison damage (in case of Golden Daruma)

Any info that can help this thread will be greatly appreciated!

Wow you guys need to read the whole post and also comprehend what OP is asking...................

Let me make it easy for you guys. The matter at hand is OP is looking for players or a chat group who are currently mid-late game, levels 50-80 or I would assume at least cleared nether seki and actually interested in grinding instead of leeching. It's actually as simple as that.

As for thoes reading only the last sentence of the entire post, "power player" doesn't necessarily mean a player with only points added to the power stat. Think about it, there are support players, have you seen a support stat? No. Power players can mean those only focusing on dishing out as much damage as possible.
The reason for the possible question statement is basically restating in other words, OP doesn't want to completely leech all the way to the top like everyone does. Therefore he/she is not looking for the highest level players to carry, but like leveled players to chat and grind with, and put some effort into their characters, to get to that level he/she can deal 100k+ damage.

OP, your answer is no.
However, towards the end of the current content cap, yes. No chat groups, but you can find many players who work together and grind field mobs in the sewers in Edo.

Thank you for clearing things out. Yes that's what I'm looking for.

Quite close enough. The term I used is to describe people who just want to get max level so they can see their 1mil crit (this is just an example of damage. I don't know how much damage people do at max level).
They wanna do it as quickly and with little effort as possible. That's why I used the quotation marks: to make it look as a title to those type of players.

That's exactly the reason why I want to meet people of similar level with me. All I see is people getting carried by lvl 100+ because they are "friends". As a personal opinion, I don't see any rewarding factor in making bland levels.
It's a PvE game with very little to do lategame. What good is it to rush leveling?

By now, the best team work experience I had was in Shinoda Forest Hell where we had a spear user who was a carry, me as a support, another support mostly for my sp recovery but also as a reserve support just in case I'd lag or had to quickly go afk, and 2 people who protected the supports in case mobs where after them. All of us where between level 45 to 52.
Doing the dungeon that way felt more rewarding and I personally had more motivation to continue making the same dungeon over and over. As opposed to just staying around and sometimes giving sp to a high level carry

Possible counter-argument: What's the reason to work hard in order to get high level?
A: If you ask that as a lvl 100+ player (or at least close to it), you probably spent more time bragging about your damage rather than telling stories about interesting or cool stuff that happened during your leveling process from 1 to 100. And that's just sad. But hey I guess everybody finds their joy in gaming one way or another. Maybe I'm too old for this generation of people...

Taakun wrote:OP, your answer is no.

Oh well. I'll make some attempts to make that chat group. Hopefully the community has people who don't wanna get powerleveled...

I still have a long way till then. I don't have Literature, I don't have Chiami, and I don't have any Ougi. All I have is WDS 6 and Ice Blossom 5 on a lvl 68 weapon upgraded to +50.
After lurking the forums, all I saw was stuff like "If you have 2 Ougis on a lvl 80+ weapon and have it upgraded to +100, then you can join us in grinding". This is just a made up example inspired from those posts.

Oh look. Finally there's someone who actually wants to play the game. Good for you OP (Not meaning that sarcastically, I actually do mean "Good for you"). Way too many people who beg for hours just to leech. I've been afk a few times and come back to a full chatbox of green text asking for a carry... If my alts reach this level, I may join your group, but for the time being my attention has been focused elsewhere, so don't expect me to be joining anytime soon.

The biggest problem is that most people are like that. And my group's focus isn't something to advantage them.
By now barely ~11 people joined and it's quiet...not only because most of us are online at different times (usually 3-4 online at a time) but also because the chat seems to be easily forgotten (people forget to check it).
In short, seems like the chat group needs active people to start the spark of talking in it. And that's something I'm not good at. Hopefully more people join so that there will be more chances for people to talk with one another

I wish people would play games like Monster Hunter and Dark Souls so they can feel the reward of completing a challenge.
