i agreed with the enemy attack hitbox being quite...something,like i was 1 m from the trajectory and it still hit me,well possibly lag was also contributing but better coding should be able to minimalized it

if possible make the companion more useful,or just make them like player/unit/object whatever, have hp/sp,deal moar damage, not attacking air,and can be set about the nature of attacking, aggressive, buffer, healer, etc (or make each character have their own way)

i guess mailsystem is abit impossible, since people can spam id ,hog all that gift from story Q and sell then, too bad

make them dodge have an actual i frame and make em dodge abit longer,really..

add some raid boss,i don't know like yamata no orochi (impossible, probably inside susanoo),kraken, leviathan,or any big boss =w=,but please prepared some lag countermeasure though..

make the friend list able to show where they are...it's hard when the person themselves don't know,or don't have the time to reply

I think I mentioned that. Making the Companions more useful in combat. It really is annoying that they attack the air to the point I wanna scream "Shut up with all the grunts" Maybe having their own better ai is the best choice tho. Since If I can set what my companions would do in combat I would make them run in circles... I mean kite, make them kite the boss or mooks.

There's some method of countering the Mailing Exploits. Just make those items untradeable. Like Gacha Tickets. Things like the EXP Boost? Depends. It's possible to get them normally via Lucky Chest so They aren't THAT rare.

Optional Raid bosses? sure. It does make players interact with each other. It goes with my Player interaction suggestion.

Sure I can switch to dual swords to regain SP, but even that will take some time to do (Duals regen 4 SP per hit, Oodachi's regen 7 SP per hit), and if I take a hit while doing it at all, there's about 4 more HP consumables gone (Yes, I have to spam a few of them to get my HP back, even the higher healing ones) while having done next to nothing to the bosses HP in return.

Got some SP back, use like 4 or so skills on the boss, and repeat that cycle. Why should I be forced to rely on something like that just to keep myself going? There is plenty of burst, but the recover from that burst really lacks on a lot of boss fights unless I can stand still and do a ton of basic attacks, which in just about any situation where the boss does any type of AOE, 360 degree, or even a cleave, gets me either killed, or hit for more than half my HP.

I get what your saying, but that is the downside of said weapon. You'll have to create tactics that center around it, what I mentioned is just one I created for myself which I though can apply to almost all situations. There is also letting your companion/follower as a distraction, something a bit harder for me to do but is doable. They won't last long but you'll get some breathing space to do what you need to do. Depending on what the boss is there are also adds that spawn. If you time it you can kill/combo/build your SP using them, it requires paying attention to both the boss and the add. A more "cheap" method I came up with is using the Boss' reset point to my advantage. If I ran out of SP and don't think I can build via hitting then I will run past the reset point or the "safe zone" and wait it out. Not all Bosses have this point tho so It won't always work. One Boss that comes to mind is Chief Dekuma since his homing bombs can get you even from the entrance of his stage.

As players we can adapt, just need to find your own method. Trial and error friend. And I am guessing you block for the most part? Being a Melee player and all.

For the most part I usually dodge. Dodging to attempt to take no damage at all instead of blocking which lets a fraction of the damage through has just become a second nature to me in MMO's like this. It's gotten me screwed plenty of times of course with being hit even when I'm clearly outside of the attacks range and all, but for the most part I find myself trying to dodge. Every now and then I'll remember to force myself to block things I cannot dodge instead, but the block delay usually tends to screw me over anyway and I eat a full hit to the face.

Using your companion however to act as a distraction never works for me. Don't know if it's just because of the amount of damage I do, but the boss just hounds me no matter where I go, or who's attacking it. This tends to happen in groups as well a lot. it quickly turns into a "Kill or be killed" zerg between the boss and me.

Also to the recent posts, I definitely agree. The companion/partner/follower/whatever's AI really needs to be redone. The attacking air thing is annoying. Commands to give them would be pretty cool.

xD
pretty funny stuff,
you guys know they wont fix any of this junk right?

especially considering that over half the things mentioned directly ties into pitiful schemes put in place to make money.

for example, obviously the bazaar is bs, but they feel like by doing this they will be forcing more players to give them money, while easily being able to defend the decision by blaming the absence of a real bazaar on something like breaking eco.(when one doesn't exist to begin with lool)

But the best part, is that most these changes would actually bring in more money, it's allot easier to go for that hard squeeze and not think out the most effective way for everyone.
even more so for games localized by u.s xD

but hey games still mostly free, and super fun and pretty right?

too much time taken away from your lives making that list.. after seeing the "control settings" that doesn't allow u to change any hotkeys i already know their limit and doubt they will make even 1 of those in the list.. i mean in any MMO i have played, only onigiri has this shitty "control settings" like seriously only putting mouse sensitivity ?

Companions need to be stronger... Shizuka deals 20-30dmg to a mob ad my level 25.Also their AI sometimes completely bugs out. They either stop on one place untill you kill everything and then start to move or they attack mindlessly in the air or run into the wall forever.

Invincibility frames during rolls. Rolls are useless most of the times. You still end up taking damage.

Blocking needs to be faster. Sometimes you manage to block but sometimes even if you block the attacks still do full dmg even if they are not strong attacks.
