Where to sell unwanted items

Ok...just found this game by accident. Happy accident though.

Started playing and found that I do not know where to sell unwanted items in my inventory. Coming from WoW, where we could sell to any NPC vendor, I am a little lost as I can't seem to find any vendors to sell to. Or, and this will be a shock to me, are there NOT any vendors like this in the game?

Right now I am only level 4, so I know I am still learning a lot here....but not having any NPC vendors to sell to is not something I would expect.

Don't worry, there'll be an npc quite soon who'll act as a basic item stocker/merchant.

There is a vendor npc. However, you have to proceed with the main quest before you can meet him.
