The Chakra cost is quite high for general skill force magatama (as well as the 27% Critical I mentioned, but since Pineapple costs so little I thought if critical did enough damage I would go down that path), but you can try the 歳殺 Saisetsu? (Eight Gods?) Magatama which gives 35% Skill Force for 41 Chakra. Magatama drop from enemies up to 8 levels above their required level, but no less, and this Magatama has a level requirement of 53.

The Pineapple Magatama has a level requirement of 25.

Hey Otonashi, around what level do you get the quest to get the Chigaiya Magatama? Do you receive the quest from an NPC in the Oosumi Plains West field or somewhere else? I've been knocking off the side quests in my quest log in hopes of getting the quest for that magatama, but no luck. I saw in another thread that you stated that it "involved three Gankubi brothers in Oosumi Plains West and some eye medicine" but none of the quests in my log tell me to do those things. Is it part of a quest chain by any chance? Thanks so much!

Yes, it's part of a quest chain with the three Gankubi brothers. I can't remember when the quest appears, but it's probably close to when you reach Kyoto.

Sorry I am confused but I'm pretty new and there is not much information on the wiki. I'm just trying to understand what to look for in a bow (aside from the skills I want). You say:

Fledgling Sparrow Bow (Kishinden ~ Tiamat)
Greatbow (Kishinden ~ Tiamat)
Fuedou Bow (Izumo, Skippable)
Black Pine Bow / Ice Rattan Bow / Failnaught (Gedoumaru's Hideout)

Tachibana Bow (Secluded Forest)
Gare (Crafted: 16x Jaw Bone, 1x Sinister Bones, 1x New Fundoshi)

Are these weapons the best in order from top to bottom? Or is it listed as:
" weapon.....location-where-you-find-it"
or maybe:
"weapon.....Use-this-weapon-in-this-part-of-the-game"?

I'm confused because I don't know all the terms (like tiamat, izumo, and gare) and I can't tell if they are items, places, or monsters because there is not much on them in the wiki...

Could someone help me understand this a bit?

It's basically a list of bows going top to bottom (lowest level to highest level for a gradually weapon change/progression).
The names/materials in the parenthesis are either the location of the weapon or the crafting materials needed to make the weapon.
tiamat is a player name for the dungeon sakurajima depths as it is one of the boss monsters and iconic to the dungeon causing us to refer to the dungeon as tiamat.
Izumo generally refers to an entire area, but it's kinda unspecified.
gare is the name of the bow and is a craftable bow (the materials are listed instead of dungeon)

I still believe that all Magatama drop from enemies between 0-8 levels above them, so Pineapple would drop from 25-33. I haven't gotten any through farming yet though.
