Smelting Percentages are Lies

The smelting percentage in this game is absolute BULLSHIT. I tried smelting my bow at 71% 4 times, AND THEY ALL FAILED. I lost over 250 fucking durability because the percentages are complete LIES. 71% is more like 41%...im so done with this game.

Or you can also say you have aweful luck I tried smelting with 40% success rate 2 consecutive times and it didn't fail. But I also have the same experience as yours. However it wasn't that bad. It failed 2x only. 29% failure is still high you know.

The chance of all 4 failing is 29%^4 = 0.707281%

Hence, out of every ~141-142 bows, this should occur.

LOL I have horrible luck with smelting too.. 3 fails in a row at 80%. Even managed to have a failure at 95%.....

but what's new, not like my luck with the nyankoro was any better...

in Cosmic Break people always complain about the % in tunning stuff, stuff failing even at 95% XD (i also complain about this)

You guys should try Mabinogi and repair at Ferghus (90% repair rate) and then go back to this

Either way i haven't been failing any smelting so far and i all smelted all the way to +60. Just RNG bussiness as usual

Yep, definitely some bad luck, I have some weapons smelt and enhanced up to +50 and only failed 2 times ever since I started playing.
