Partners and Hp item help

Postby WildSakura » 01 Aug 2014, 13:59

I have been having difficulties with my partners levels not returning to full strength after battles. This is despite the fact that I give them maximum amount of gifts and affection. Yet the health remains low on both of them.
I am also having much difficulty with my food restoration of hp with the salmon nigiri that is under the F3 button on my laptop :? (All it does do is turn my airplane mode on and off) . It does not function, and will not transfer the food from my inventory, nor allow me to use from my inventory with the (use) button. These difficulties are very frustrating during the heat of combat. Any assistance on these matters would be appreciated. Otherwise great game. :)

P.S. I can use the tuna and other nigiri in the dungeon in the F1 & F2 slots. There is no way to restock them however in the Dungeon.

this is normal, using partners gets their "hp" down and you have to wait for it to go back up, it doesn't instantly go back up after a dungeon .

This is the Item you want to use for Partner HP/Stamina.

When they get hit, attack and run, it slowly uses Stamina up. (even having them idol doing nothing while in town)

So if you want to keep them up you got to use this. and you can buy this with C, or point (an other feature in the nya-paw shop.

Not being able to use F3 I would think is a part of your laptop keyboard's design. They usually do this to save space on the keyboard while still allowing you to adjust various settings. Try looking for a (usually blue) 'Fn' key, and holding that down when you press F3. That should swap it's function from enabling aeroplane mode to registering that you've pressed F3.
I think some laptops let you reverse this behaviour in the BIOS/UEFI so that your function keys always work as function keys, with their secondary function being applied when holding the Fn key down. How to get that to show up often depends on your laptop model, so I can't help much there.
If the Fn+F3 key combination is too cumbersome for you, you might be better off using an external keyboard. There are quite a few cheap ones available with a full standard layout and little to no extra features to complicate things.

I believe not being able to restock healing items mid-dungeon is by design, though. Not much you can do about that, I'm afraid.
