No one wants to work together?

Its simply because of the fact that no one wants to work together in a party that I'm considering just not playing Onigiri at all and quitting. I'm a support, I want to support an entire party, not just one guy while 3 people AFK and do something else and I'm stuck with the same shitty EXP they get because the system technically considers me a leecher by default. I didn't do the draws to try and get Ougi's so that I can keep one guy alive, I got it for the entire party I was planning on doing dungeons with to make the run easier and more enjoyable for everyone.

All of the support Ougi's are based around the entire party. Heal the party's HP and SP at a great range. Speed up an entire party to make clearing and dodging attacks much faster and easier. But those Ougi's are truly going to waste, but hell at least they were free. And to top it all off I don't get a single lucky box unless I decide to ride solo just to complete the story. I'm starting to question why current high level players keep grinding on leech EXP. Are you honestly having fun watching one guy and a support(s) do all the work? you logged into Onigiri for this? You might as well watch paint dry while you're at it.

People must be really looking forward to that end game content that hasn't been added yet.

If you're quitting, can I buy your staff imbued with ougis?

I am looking for a good staff with ougi (I don't care about the ++), only the options must be good.

Also a good wand with ougi (prefereably, Crimson Ray or Fuujin/Raijin)

The current party system is a joke tbh.. you cant control who gets in and out of your paty, exp and lucky box distribution fails too much that ppl hogs all the mobs and gets mad when other tries to hit some and lock-on system is a joke...

w/ the said flaws you cant really blame the leechers all the time since carries gets too greedy sometimes and gets mad at ppl who hits mobs other than himself... so yeah i guess it became a habbit for other ppl to not do anythin that makes the party hate them more than not doin anythin at all..

The only way i can see this gettin fixed is to get CS work their asses off and do balancin and shiit cause sometimes it aint fun anymore.. spears do all the work staves goes supporting w/ like less benefits than soloin, and other classes looks like they're a liability w spears bein too overpowered.. (v = _=)>U. *popcorns*

Giving everyone the same exp doesn't fix the problem if you think about it

With everyone having the same exp, leachers are still going to leach cause hey, even more exp even better for them. But carries won't carry anymore cause they prefer leaching too since they all get same exp anyways.

If you want to balance support by giving them exp, the challenge is that it is hard for the system to know who's doing proper support that help the clear. If it gives exp blindly then you have 1 carry, and 4 people spamming invig on eachother.

Either way the EN server is a lost cause because people are already dedicated to make themselves useless

Give party leader a feature to kick 'not working' member. With a good party leader, all is well, without will be not good.
So the decision who 'judge' he/she is a good support be dependent on party leader.

Make a game mechanics that can calculate each members' stat and equipment. Such as TERRA.There is grade system calculating the stats and such.
And make the party leader can SET Party Requirement for each member.

Support minimum requirement for example : have total 70 MND and has at least lv.50.
Power character has at least total 100 Power for lv.70
Dex character has at least total 100 Dex for lv.70
Wis character has at least total 100 Wis for lv.70

Carriers shouldn't be available from the beginning... It is more effective the carriers are the attackers. Carriers are 'terms' that were created by community because the game mech for this game is a mess.

If you want to be fair, why not alternate the carriers/attackers? Support should be just only one in a party, or two to make double invigorate if you know what I mean.

@Rebecca
It's NOT only 1/3 EXP, but Lucky Boxes as well. In a long run, it is more profitable to be attacker/mob killers rather than supporters. Why?
-> Attacker/Mob Killers can hog all the LUCKY BOXES.
-> Supporters need to spend on durability too, the same as the attacker. So why play support if he/she only get 1/3 reward and no LUCKY BOXES?
-> A good supporter ensure that the attacker will not die, by healing HP/SP and perma-buffing, so that the attacker won't need to eat/drink sushis/liquors. IT ACCELERATES THE DUNGEON CLEARING.
-> Supporters need a GOOD STAFFS to SUPPORT. It means he/she also need the appropriate Smelt luck fortune to
increase his/her capacity as Support. WITHOUT LUCKY BOXES, it is not ._.,, or except if you want to spend $$$ to buy?
-> Lucky Boxes are good tools to get gatcha tickets too. -> finding ougis for staffs without spending $$$.
-> If I want to spend $$$ to get Ougi, why SHOULD I spend on STAFFs, if you will play treated as LEECHER in the game? You support and buff the other members and wholefully, but is rewarded discriminately (1/3 EXP and NO LUCKY BOXES)?
I would without second thought, spend $$$ on Cool Attack Ougis to obliterate enemies.

===

In my experience playing support, with support we can finish Secluded Forest Hell in 2 minutes (record with Hanzou), I always perma-buff him and ensure SP is not depleted. I died around 3 times and no one cares.
My buffs would be Idaten's Grace/Rapid Storm and Strike Boost V (my own minimum requirement).
I ensure I have two staffs that has Invigorate IV/V and Cure V/IV. And those cost money too...
Without good support he can finish it in 3-4 minutes.

Just to remind you, this is C$, the company who shut down 1/3 of the server on second week of release to save pocket money, the company that can't program to save life, and the company that don't even bother fixing their own issue at the moments. You think they have the mental capacity and actually use the money to make such a system?

If you want to be fair, why not alternate the carriers/attackers? Support should be just only one in a party, or two to make double invigorate if you know what I mean.

Problem is enforcement, not suggestion

-> A good supporter ensure that the attacker will not die, by healing HP/SP and perma-buffing, so that the attacker won't need to eat/drink sushis/liquors. IT ACCELERATES THE DUNGEON CLEARING.

Then make me a system that tells what support are useful and useless. Human can judge based on perception, machine can only judge based on actions. It sees someone heal an afk as equally as someone who heals the person in combat

Just so you know, C$ hates all people who don't spend money. They will try everything they can to get you to spend.

So all the blame could be directed to C$. :o :( . Or we, the players, adapt.

I guess this won't take long if they want to fix this unhealthy system.

Fortunately for them, the only decent "Almost Open World" MMORPG with heavy Japanese theme (Anime style specifically, fully-voiced) is Onigiri Online. So no competition here.

On Business side, this game is an example of quick and feasible good cash-cow for Anime/Japanese-theme lovers MMORPG.

If there'll be a competitor, they will know the consequences not getting better.
For now, it's all good. So why bother fixing/upgrading ? :D :D

A dungeon stat requirement like in Tera sounds pretty sweet
Though rather than level and equipment grades
Better to set level and flat attack restrictions according to dungeon level and difficulty modes
It would act both as a guideline and a way to force people to work their way up
As a side effect people will need to level up alot before being able to do main quests though
But that still won't filter out all the lazies
I like the idea though

As for xp gain by heals
Maybe it would work if healing lost hp granted xp based on healers level and amount healed
I don't really like this idea though because it's so easy to abuse, more so if sp heals granted xp

You know how theres a rank for completing dungeons?
How about having a separate rank just for supporters?

C rank = 0x bonus
B rank and above gaining a bonus to achieve similar xp gain to carriers

The problem is how to rank supporters
Here is a suggestion though

Create a realtime damage/heal ranklist that can be viewed during dungeons
Create a damage threshold based on level
Create a true heal(healed lost hp) threshold based on level

Healing someone who can clear the damage threshold
by the end of a dungeon and provided you have cleared your own heal threshold you will be granted an according supporter rank/xp bonus

This would encourage people to heal people who do most of the work
There are negatives to this idea but I will let others dig for them

Wouldn't that be similar to the secondary title system I suggested a while ago in another thread where you would have a secondary title that you unlock and equip based on your stats and they would give boosts based on the title you equip. After all, the problem is that the game can't differentiate between the leecher and the support since its only judgement criteria is "did the guy kill the mob or not?" There's only 2 real ways to solve that, one of them being that you put a label on each character so the game can tell what they are and the other would be to add another criteria to judge (rather abusable for the most part unless the criteria is extremely strict and thus runs the risk of people falling under the criteria when they should be qualified due to various reasons).

Are you asking to be flamed?
We're talking about ways to restrict leechers
Not whatever stat bonus
