I Lol at people waiting to get carried

Ok , ok - this is getting into stupid debate over staff users - and you know what Staff are okay as they are, infact I am super lazy on leveling, but If I wanted I know people who be glad to take me in grind with them.

Support can mean more then just an Heal or SP , or even Speed buff/M&P Def buff's.

Support meaning able to help out, any one can be a Support. that include the leeches, if they attack a single mob, they are supporting in the back lines.


2nd , pure healers? Ok that mean you only use heal,healing,cure, engery ball, and anything that give people hitpoint's/lifepoint's back.



Staff are ok, they do decent amount damage of spec right, Staff Aff = Battle mode staff, as SF is just better on heals. But SF also help assult style staff.


Tbh Lucky Boxes are Nice, Yes but they aren't needed by supports, cause we can use the same bloody staff from the start and still be okay damage with it, get a newer staff - A lot more damage, and slight increase in heal. Awesome right?


I am the only real person who been sinking point in Mnd sense level 1 in this game, want to know why? Cause I am just an Staff user, I can pure support anyone, I can defend myself if a mob strand itself, I don't give a flying care in the world, cause I play the game for it fun, not for item, not for it end game content, but just to chill with people joke around. That why I hardly ever grind, I can say if you want Lucky boxes so bad, stop being in higher level zone, and just go do dungeon match up with your level on hell, it will drop, heck when you grind for an Ami-staff, you can do Seki Hell, get to the skelly's and just kill them over and over their, and they drop lucky boxes while ur farming gold /silver weapon drops.

You are an Disgrace to staff user if you want to call yourself an support and have to be carried, or ask for help - heck I go to low level areas, just to help some ppl and kill mobs , and while I'm at it , I tend to get lucky boxes for supporting newer levels, while the high level are still grinding.


The Beauty of being an Staff user , is you get to meet people , not wanting to be carry, anyone has met me I ngame, will know I am more then glad to afk around for hours, and ask for help , I tend to give them it, but the majority the time I don't do anything else but afk.


Stop thinking us staff are useless and look at more open mind and try different thing - some people grind higher level content, other have to find somewhere else for their weapon choice - like Spear/sword are favour in Esate, as Bow go to grotutto , staff can join any one of those , cause we have both range and melee, we can join due to our powerful heal, or attack though walls, our sp regen isn't an demand tool by someone and I tell people all the time I help start demanding SP, I will leave them hanging dry in the dungeon if they are being useless and when the party asking for team work, and I have left dungeons before, like I had to do Sado mines, 3 times, cause there was a level 60-70 person just standinin the back saying they can't do anything, or help cause they lack damage, on Normal mode. I stirhgt up tol the party let leave, and remake cause I didn't felt like they are just pure leech.


I get PM daily to join ppl cause I can heal good, sp regen good, but I don't care for levels, or item, that because an real support player enjoy the laid back of the game, cause We can blend in high and low level areas , and just be there.


Low level skill? No problem just spam in town, go to low level area and tell them you just leveling up skill/ u don't get exp killin things, so it be waste for u to kill, but you will heal and ect for them to be more powerful.



I wouldn't call myself an top tier staff person , but I am most better at staff cause I only use them and learn to adept to any player, self or need I have to do by myself, or in team.

Except who actually calls supports useless? O.o And sure supports can kill stuff, but it'll take them twice as long as other weapons could if not more so. And the issue with staffs is purely and simply that the game treats them as leech #4. In no way shape or form should someone who's doing work be treated the same as someone who's twiddling their thumbs. It'd be the exact same as if the carry got the same exp as the leechers. I'm pretty sure the carries would start complaining about it rather quickly as well. Why should people who are putting in effort be treated the same as people who don't?

Oh and MND/WIS works better imo. Wis reduces your SP costs for staff skills so you don't run out of SP while casting stuff (*cough* cure 7 and its 250+ SP cost *cough*). Not to mention you can at least solo things with some semblance of speed with your AoE and rather high base damage for wand skills (Raijin/Fuujin can still kill the things in Susanoo's soul with 1 use on my level 39 wand).

Alternate Mob Attack if you want, I collect the mobs and you do the Holly Pilar or Ice Bolt. Or

You collect the mobs, I kill the mobs. HP lower? Cure, SP lower? Invig, Speed/Atk? Idaten or Strike Boot? All is fine.

I want to try duet party in order to minimize the ABC or whatever it is.

The next problem is I can't be online all day.. need to work at days. I need the lucky boxes to upgrade my weapon ._.; and I will need Ice Glaive VII and Earth Glaive VII ._.

On the bright side, I now have Hellfire VII, one hit kill for normal mobs, and possibly bosses that weak to fire added with FGC.

My answer is staff, for my stats are Staff purely.



even with reset I would still pick staff. cause their is more enjoyment as staff, then any other weapon for me.



Also I won't mind helping you some easy grinding if u want, and show you how 2 solo in dungeon and help you farm Ami staff, but then I will step aside and let you do some once u think you get it.

Actually It be much higher , considering you start spending over 20 + point after a point.




But no staff are fine damage, people just think they aren't cause in higher level area they seem to do less, that just because level being odd, like when a high level go to newb area, mob will tickle them, but their damage is super high, it the case for this.


I can easily do dungeon around my level, no problem and do it in decent time, but doing dungeon around 30+ level, will take time.

You read my mind correctly, are you an Oracle? . I enjoyed playing wand though. But not really in staffs. Except, solo playing.. it's getting bored, so I spread the news :p. But recently, a little bit more in party leveling with staffs.

I solo everything, I'm undescribably grateful there are no level requirements, only "suggestions", so I need not to grind.

actually, you need lvl 60 to proceed in the main story quest line once you enter echigo
