Hybrid of Spear and Bow

So lately I've been interested in switching between a ranged weapon and a mid-ranged weapon.

Is there anyone who has done this already? If so, can anyone give me tips to max out both affinity or like what stats should I invest in?

Instead Spear and Bow which has two different stats, why not initially Twin Sword (melee) and Bow (ranged) which both use DEX as base damage?

Anyway, at lv.100 you can max both VIT and DEX to become hybrid like you want. (even before lv.100 if you count some stats addition from equip/mags/Amaterasu)

In Ginza (next content patch), there will be a Magatama that gives both Spear and Bow Skillforce. So if you're planning on this for end game I'd say go for it. However if you have not yet maxed out one affinity I would focus on one weapon first. ^^

To get the most affinity with that build, I would get enough status points for either Dex or Vit for max affinity, then focus on the other stat afterwards. It'll be slow to get to your ideal build, but it's the easiest way to do level up without completely gimping yourself of damage.

Unfortunately, no good skillforce/affinity and attack mage/support hybrid mags yet :[, only magic magatama which is a bit under considering low base damage of wand/staffs. I guess not a very good investment playing mage/support in this game.
