Electrical Super Express Quest Problem

My problem is that I can't clear the quest even though I already have the needed item...pic below explains everything...

I also have this problem; not submitting screenshot because I don't want the thread to get too cluttered, but if anyone requests, I can post one.

IGN: MayVerika
Weapon: Staff
Level: 30 (had problem since level 26 or 27; I forget which)
Main Quest: Kyoto Quests
Additional Notes: I happened to get my Thunder Stone from the Haunted House box; could that be causing a problem?

Chucking the item into storage, exiting the storage interface completely, then taking it out of storage again -may- work. Maybe. I hope.

Just now, i got the quest responding again by getting a freshly dropped Thunder Stone...But why was it not working when I already got thunder stones?
