Green lines in fullscreen

Just got the game running and windowed mode cuts off the right half of the screen so I went to fullscreen mode and alot of the screen is filled with green lines, windowed mode isnt like that.
Also causes my screen to sound like its burning a little like kindle crackling.
Please help.
