Clicking/menu glitches

pt. 1
I was grinding grotto, drinking sake*3 (moon king, chidori, and benten, not sure if it matters) and then found I couldn't attack/cast with either left or right click. I could switch weapons, move around, bring up the alt menu and some combination of these eventually fixed it each time (this happened probably 6 times on two runs, each time with sake). Afterwards, I couldn't replicate it. Well, another problem has also been popping up a lot which is: drinking sake sometimes locks the camera. This however is solvable by clicking anywhere.

pt. 2
I was doing a dungeon and as I go to leave the dungeon after completing it, no alt menu...
esc, didn't work either.
Well, I tried leaving through the portal but when the option came up, the cursor didn't appear.

These things both happened for the first time today for me and I haven't heard of them before. Anyone know of some solution to these?

After login/at neutral position,
Press 'alt' at your computer keyboard, and then manually move your mouse so that the weapon choice is shown and click any of the weapons. After equipping, press 'alt' once more.

Also, alt+tab to windows, and then alt+tab back to the game would help if your mouse cursor didn't appear.

I've been able to test this quite thoroughly >.<
maybe something to do with me drinking sake 10 times per run, it usually gets me at some point during login boost

Found another solution:
bringing up the alt menu and clicking anywhere on the screen, then exiting the menu.
