Basically, they had different textures in the beta.

Someone wanted to sue them for green kijimuna and morizou, or something like that, so they changed them to blue kijimuna and orange kikuzou instead of morizou. Since the textures were replaced at a later date, they must have exported them in a different format, as the new textures caused some out of date graphics drivers to become incompatible.
