Finally got around to encountering that bug today. Good thing I've got some side quests to do in the mean time. If I complete those and the bug still persists, I'll just grind Yakumo for a while. I need to upgrade my gear anyway so that works for me.

Would it please be possible to just edit the NPC outside the inn to give us our reward and progress without seeing the event so we don't have to wait weeks to a month? This is seriously a huge issue and annoying that it's wasting time on my costume and premium bonus ontop of not being able to literally do anything at all any more because dungeons don't give good experience and I have good gear. Even if I make alternate character I'm still going to be stuck at this same dead end road and that kills my drive completely. At this point if you made a cash shop item for $50 to fix Benkei I'd buy it just to fund a programmer an hour to write an NPC script. >.<
