Survey: Which One Are You?

I think I pretty much summed up the player base of Onigiri into 5 categories...
Say which group you fall into below. This'll be interesting (If people stay honest)

1. The (pre-teen to teenage or maybe adult) boy/girl who plays the game for shits and giggles. This group has a lot of time on their hands and tendencies include: rifting, asking for help constantly in whispers, role playing, and trying to low ball (sell/buy) in bazaars. [This is pretty much the laughing stock of the player base]

2. The people(teens-adults) who want take the game somewhat seriously but can't. This group at least tries to complete the game with legitimate effort and enhance the builds of their character(s) but doesn't have the money to do so and probably needs a job irl. [This group is probably filled with the most people that quit the game due to its lack of features and pay2win model.]

3. The guy/girl in college that probably still lives with they're parents and manages to obtain a mass amounts of OC through one of the following methods: checks from their respective governments that are meant to be used towards their studies (but they spend it on the game). and/or; since they live under their parents roof they just bum money from them. Surprisingly this group also has a lot of time on their hands as well...after school they most likely just come online and play this. [This group may be made with your top tier players that seem to always have OC, and spend countless hours of their day on the game and have the best gear.]

4. The working class (teenage-adults) that hold part-time/full-time jobs and may or may not attend school. This group may struggle to find time to play the game and don't actually do shit but grind and put OC into their character(s) so they can keep up with groups 3 and 5. [This group is in the higher tiers of the playerbase but probably don't deserve to be their because they just boosted they're way their through cash shop.]

5. That teen/adult who doesn't have a job or doesn't go college/school. This group most likely just lives with their parents and may find a way to gain mass amounts of OC if they beg their mom or dad or whoever they bum money from. [This group is a mix group 1 and maybe group 3 if you were to compare it by character tiers(builds, gear etc.)]

I was 4 until i quit. Why would players that work irl not deserve to be in higher tiers? imo working irl is a lot harder than playing some game not to mention juggling work and gaming is a pain in the butt.

I agree with your statement. When I said 'probably' I meant it in a way that most people in group 4 throw money at the game and really don't contribute in any other way.

That's true I knew a few players like that they even went as far as to pay people to carry them lol.

Most of my OC mostly comes from scholarship funds, which I was supposed to spend on meals, lodging, books and, of course, tuition instead.

That said, tip for anyone planning to go into post secondary education: you don't actually need textbooks.

The funds aren't from the government in my case though, not that it really matters.

Textbooks are a fcking rip off. In my case the shitty thing for me was that my college professors ran assignments out of the textbooks so I pretty much had to to give in to that scam.

My solution was this:

Step 1. Go to book store.
Step 2. Get camera.
Step 3. Be sneaky.
Step 4. Get kicked out.
Step 5. Repeat again the next day.

None? I mean it was kind of a mix of 2 and 3, but I have other games that i'd rather play and I wouldn't throw cash into this game even if I had a surplus.

The money meant for my textbooks instead goes towards food and games/movies. Google is better than a textbook anyways.
