Except you are simply not doing anything at all. Another weekly maintenance just went by with no fix in sight while consoles get about 5 emergency maintenances in the past couple days.

Dissolution is probably the best way (Higher Kaguya level helps):

Light Stone/Inferno Stone/Crushing Stone -Dissolve Harvest Night Magatama
Cutting Stone/Fortitude Stone/Miracle Stone -Dissolve Bandai Magatama
Piercing Stone/Cutting Stone/Crushing Stone -Dissolve Seven Treasure Magatama
Dark Stone/Thunder Stone/Ice Stone -Dissolve Mangoku Magatama

Actually a GM was sighted in Onigashima earlier today and (apparently, I wasn't there) announced maintenance to fix that quest. So... maybe it's already fixed? I haven't checked.
