Movement delay

Postby Kenzu » 08 Nov 2015, 19:40

Hello was wondering if this was normal. Everytime i move there is a slight delay and my character does goes farther than where he should go. For example, when i press W once I will go forward about 3 steps before i stop.

I think you are just lagging, I don't have those problems. Unless if I'm at Onigashima where theres many Bazaars and players. Well if you want to lag less, you could just lower your settings for viewing bazaar stalls and players to a minimum.

That's lag. Removing bazaars helps, but what would *really* help is if CS had better servers. Ping can be a bitch too. It also depends on when you play. If there's a lot of players online, that causes lag. I hear Onigiri used to have different channels available, so you could shift to a quieter one and suffer less lag, but now there's only one (insert Highlander quote here). I find that the best time to play is 20:00-00:00 (That's GMT though, which I think might be 16:00-20:00 EST). For about 60-90 minutes after that time (In other words, until about 21:00-21:30 EST), it's lag city central no matter where you go. Don't know if that'll be any help though.

This happens to me too, and I believe it is because of network lag. If it often gets bad for you, you may find playing as a bow or wand user a bit more enjoyable.
