Has anyone figured out what Initiative does yet for pets?

That's what I'd thought at first, but then I thought that it would increase the rate of skills vs normal attacks (since there was already coward/brave etc.). Then.. I thought it was a stat for when there would be pet pvp to decide attack rates or turn order, etc. or something.
