The preview page my last update post covered got updated.

There's now... A christmas event!

-----

Christmas has come to Onigashima once again this year!

And once again, Sanda Kuroko has come from a country to the north to manage PR for this event.

But.. Why is that she seems to be all depressed?

Image

Looks like the sled that she uses to fly around got into an accident, and everything she was carrying in it got scattered all over the place!

Please listen to the request of Kuroko and her companions - and battle against the Christmas spirit filled youkai and collect the scattered items!

Rewards:

Plaza item lineup's getting changed.

To be specific, they're just changing the amount stuff costs, and removing some junk.

Yes, cost decreases, not increases.

Point system getting added in.
They're adding a point daruma in onigashima, and you can speak to him to have your items traded for points.
You can trade in dropped items, like weapons, magatama, and various other things.
You can get stuff from the NPC similar to the the stuff from "gift exchange" (I'm assuming this is the thing we already call points on our server).
Image
Note that you can only save up to a certain amount of points at once.

If you don't have enough points, you can convert your OC to points.
You can only use C that you charged in order to do this. You cannot use C from stalls, or C from campaigns.

^ Point Daruma

Some changes for Onigiri coins as well.
Accounts currently posessing OC will have up to 3k of it converted to the type of OC useable for points. This does not include what is currently classified as unspendable OC.
To exchange OC -> points, talk to the daruma.
As of 12/17 - Onigiri coins will be usable as following.

Charged OC
- Can be used for anything
- Owned account wide

OC from selling shit from stalls
- Can be used for anything but points
- Owned account wide

OC from logging in and shit
- Can't be used for points or stalls
- Owned by a specific character

They're remodelling Onigashima? Interesting. Let's hope they can make it weaboo proof.

What they do with these OC changes specifically, especially what I highlighted, depends if I want to still play this game or not.

On brighter news, I can't wait to see what's in the point shop, and how decreased the prices are in the cash shop.

Trading OC for points probably won't be worthwhile, anyway, seeing the list of items exchangeable.

By the way, the shop discounts aren't necessarily guaranteed to be introduced to the US version given that the shop prices are different from the JP shops to begin with.

The old one had a lot of unused space -particularly on the eastern side. Looking forwards to this one (as well as the point exhange -Skill Force magatama pls...)

Cyberjew should remake some areas to make them look more appealing and redo some graphics.
New Onigashima should be nice. The old one was too open and the run up to Kishinden was just a drag.

I hope they redo Kumaso. Running around there + lag = wet feet (fall in canal). It'd be nice if Yamataikoku wasn't so depressing as well, but then again it's *supposed* to be depressing. I think.

Lol too open? The new Onigashima is a like a CB2 arena... It's pretty huge compared to the old one, Kishinden is a straight shot at least, if you're not already using the crystal fragments.

and just fyi, want isn't spelt with an apostrophe.

Who spelled "want" with an apostrophe? I can't see that. Closest is me saying "wasn't", which definitely *does* have an apostrophe (contracted form of was not), but I don't see the typo you mentioned.
