Can't get out of Kyoto please help [Urgent]

Hey, I just started playing onigiri very recently and somehow managed to use all my friendship items on Ibara levelling up because well... Because... And what happened was that everything was smooth sailing until I cleared mount kurama and after that I got a main quest to go to Yoshi and after that no more main quests. I read around on the forums and did all the solutions.. Still no main quest... So what happened was that well... I messed up badly and I can't level up a new character as it is too time consuming. I saw a post on the forum where they said I need to increase my Shizuka level which I am all for if it were not for the tremendously low drop rates for friendship items all of the sudden. I cleared Mount kurama 5 times on hell mode without a single friendship pendant or item of sorts! Please help me! I need to get out of kyoto are there any solutions!

Hi, welcome to the game.

From what you have describe, I think it's probably because you did not complete certain side quests in Kyoto. The side quests are related to the main quest, for which you cannot progress without completing them. What main quest are you currently on? You can try whisper me in game if I'm on -ign: Riddras. Or ask other players, most of them are more knowledgeable and willing to help.

The Shizuka friendship level you mentioned is a bit later in Sekigahara, and Susanoo is around Echigo (though you can actually just bypass the Shizuka one).

Also, if you're looking for friendship items, you can get them from Warding in higher dungeon/monster levels, possibly golden weapon hunt youen.

(if your on the "repairing benkei" quest) u need to lvl up yoshitune so her repairing rank increases to rank 2 for that u need to get her to lvl 5 or more....its either that ...or maybe u didnt do that Hiraga Gennai's side quest....

I have completed the side quest for the fluffy orange ball and Meguro the helper. My yoshi is however not level 5. Also how do I get to these higher dungeons so I can farm friendship items. Thank you very much !

You can speak to Chifuri in Temporal Rift to activate it. She will then materialize in Onigashima east side of the map. The Wardings require energy points, which will slowly recuperate over time. Just choose a dungeon close to your level. The other way is to slowly buy the items from Miroku's bargains.

In other words, you fell for the big-titted, practically naked cat girl and forgot how to use your brain. I'll have to lecture you on that properly some day, but not now cuz I'm tired. For Friendship Items, I personally recommend Golden Weapon Hunt Youen (Riddras has already told you the process for unlocking it, so I don't need to repeat that), especially if you use the 300% Item Drop Boost that was handed out on Day 5 of the latest login calendar. Youen is a rough dungeon though, so don't underestimate it. I hope you have a Youkai partner at high level, because they'll help out. It's too bad you wasted items on Ibaraki, because Shizuka is best for Youen. Increasing her level means that items she identifies are higher grade, and you're also more likely to find rare items as well. But if she's low level, the weapons you find in Youen are going to be pretty poor. You may need help running the dungeon as well. If you spot Riddras (or his alt Felician), then you're in good hands. My top four (Virtual Demon, Ariel Yangjali, Spirit Sabre and Albion Sylvar) can help out with Youen Normal as well, but Riddras is more badass than I am, speaking from personal experience. My main (Virtual Demon) *might* be able to help with Youen Hard as well, but it's a tough one. If you've overlevelled Kurama (friendship items don't drop from mobs 10+ levels below you) then you'll have to run Youen Hard (Level 70 mobs).

TL;DR Grind Youen Hard, Riddras is badass, ignore Ibaraki, think with your head and not your dick.

Hahaha oh my god you just put me on blast, I can't be mad though cause you're right I thought companions were nothing more than people that are like in dungeons to fight with you but guess there was a whole lot more to it. I felt as though I might just level the hot one and have her follow me in the dungeons all the time. I will be lenient to anyone who chooses to place Amaterasu on top, since loli power. Anything else, you've got a lot of talking to do before I start castrating. In terms of who you should focus on levelling (bear in mind that this is my opinion, so you don't *have* to follow it): Shizuka, Yoshitsune, Miroku, Kaguya, Momotarou, Amaterasu, Susanoo, Ibaraki. As far as I'm concerned, Ibaraki's useless. I don't see much point in the alcohol personally, but some say that you should use every little boost you can get.
