Goldaruma point exchange

Postby Firon » 27 Jan 2016, 08:07

Recently, Onigiri has added a Goldaruma point exchange shop and I'm wondering what methods people are using to stack up points. Personally, I've found that daily searches are good (15 points per stone/aidama) = something like 800+ points for one run of hell mode for me.This also shouldn't be too hard for most higher level players since the weak element damage component (list -check the comments) is literally multiplied by 10. High level weapon exchange also seems good, though slower (32 points per 117 weapon, iirc). Friendship items can also be exchanged (if you have 999+99 and have capped your partners (for PC), you should be fine with selling the 99... from what I've calculated). Any thoughts or other methods?

I'm just selling my crap. It's not efficient, but it gets rid of the junk. Selling Aidama's a good way to raise the points though. IIRC he also buys skill cards off you, so if there's any you don't like, that's good income. So far I've only bought Friendship Items from there, but I'll also look into getting the Durability +500 tickets since my weapons wear down way too fast for my liking.

Point values for weapons seem to be lopsided as well. For example, certain lower-level staves and wands have twice the point value of an Amanohiboko (which only nets for ONE point). But since Khaos Muffins mentioned Daruma Point balancing on future updates, I'm guessing this is what's gonna be fixed.

EDIT: It appears that not only on staves and wands, but any lower-level BLUE RARITY weapons have more point values than their other-rarity level counterparts.

This is just a guess, but the low value may be because it's available through bargains.

I'll be honest guys i think the price on the gift exchange is a bit too much.
I mean come on we can only save up to 500k. :(
Since the stones is the only 1s worth exchanging points as Firon said(Note:accessories worth 100 points if u have the same 1).

I'm a bit fuzzy on the points exchange system. From the daruma NPC's description, you can earn/exchange a maximum of 50,000 points a week, but you can only save up to 500,000. So if you want something going for say 100,000, you'd have to exchange 2 weeks worth. But the update announcement says this:

"...but be careful as your accumulated points will only last until 12am Monday morning every week before they restart."

Does this mean if you have 50,000 points in the first week, it will all be wiped out come Monday?

It's my understanding you can exchange 50,000 per day, and store up to 500,000 total, but come Monday it all gets wiped and you start over. That's how I understand it anyway, I could be wrong.

from what i experience, you can exchange 50k points per week, if you reach already 50k on that week you cant exchange any more. You need to wait for the reset time which is monday midnight (PST) according to description to exchange another 50k after reset. The total points you can exchange is 500k points

I was thinking the same thing.
Btw is the ougi 15 worth it?
I saw a few players using it(never seen any1 use it on mobs though),but i wonder if its worth getting for 25k?

hmm...so in any case the points still gets wiped out monday, meaning I shouldn't exchange any unless I'm committed to getting something.

Thanks for answering guys.
