Gargoyle 110 or 115

Postby Wet,_wet » 11 Nov 2016, 08:25

Someone told me they put two of the Lance ougi's on the 115 weapon. How did they do that? I want to know so I can put two ougi 3's on a rhyme.

Figured it out for those that want to know, if you want a double skill on your gargoyle weapon you put the first skill on probably a Lance, then use it until it's max level and evolve it with momotaro. Then use the skill card for lance on it again. It could cover up the evolved lance if it does just evolve it and try again it should eventually overwrite the embers.

You can also simply use an Ougi Extraction Ticket to remove the embers ougi so that you don't have to risk overwriting Gargoyle Lance.

Edit: Actually, I'm not sure you can.

I kinda knew you could put the same type of Ougi after the previous one has been evolved, but I didn't know about the possibility that the evolved one might be replaced by an un-evolved one. Is that for Garg Ougis only or does that apply to all Ougis?

It applies to all Ougis if both slots are filled.
If the 2nd slot is free, then a new ougi from card will always go there.
But if both slots already have an ougi, using a 3rd ougi card on that weapon will overwrite one of them at random.

Gargoyle weapon ougis (embers) are unextractable according to wikia comments, I'll test for sure tomorrow. I want tidal wave + sublime on my rime and if embers is unextractable, I'll have to overwrite with throwaway ougis until I can extract as I'm not risking the loss of a sublime ougi that matches my weapon.

Example: Rime with Iceblast Embers/empty slot

Put Eternal Thunder on, weapon now has Iceblast Embers/Eternal Thunder
Put Tidal Wave VI on, overwrites Iceblast Embers, now has Tidal Wave VI/Eternal Thunder
Extract Eternal Thunder and put Tidal Wave Sublime, now has Tidal Wave VI/Tidal Wave Sublime

That would be the ideal scenario...

Thanks Wibb. I think I read the previous comment wrongly. Good to know.

Yep, Embers that come by default on gargoyle weapons are unextractable.

Need to be overwritten randomly. If you overwrite them with an extractable skill, you can extract that skill, though.

You are right, the same ougi of an existing rank cannot be put onto the same weapon.

edit *-wrong info apparently-*

What likely happened with your weapon is the previous owner overwrote the existing ougi with another ougi skill. As far as I know, we can't extract ougi embers.
