The mags that needs medals are for players who wants a real challenge to make them.
You can get the recipe for every 105 mags in oushuu dungeons if you want to make sky rending mag.
You don't necessarily need to make the 1s that needs medals.(but if your confident you can finish oni modes then go ahead & make the 1s with medals)


Thanks for the response. It made me look through Kaguya's magatama list more carefully. Turns out there are two recipes for the same magatama - the one requiring medals, the other (recipes I found by myself) requiring the former ingredients. Would appreciate it if we get an option to hide the recipes we don't want to use to prevent confusion in the future.

Got Gargoyle on my main with 1 gacha ticket from Point Daruma.

Seems like her AI will only use skills if you've attacked something and that something has not died yet. So if you're at 1 HP and she's full SP, she will just stand there unless you attack something and don't one-shot it. Pretty dumb. Her movement speed buffs only raise by 10/20 and don't stack with Rapid Storm, making them pretty useless. Unlike other partners, she has HP and defense stats like players, and follows you even more closely than other partners do. Hope she gets really tanky at higher levels! (She is able to heal herself instead of the player if you set her to.)

Assuming she has enough SP, at level 100 she can heal you for 50k HP every 15 seconds. At 125 she can boost your attack by 30% for 60 seconds out of 70 (it brings me from 33k to 40k atk). She gets similar buffs for 40 fire element, 15/25 attack speed, and 10/20 cooldown cut, but the stronger versions of attack speed/cooldown cut need extra scrolls and level 140+. And she can only level up from this new warding that takes 50+ energy per run. RIP my energy forever.

Edit2: Turns out her 50k heal skill can only target herself. Also, another tip: each extra scroll only raises level cap by 5, not 10. Total 8 scrolls to max her: one to summon, 4 to max level cap, 2 to unlock weapon slots, and one to unlock her last skill slot. The 10mil exp from feeding her a scroll isn't even enough to get her from level 90 to 91 so don't bother. It's about the same as 3 runs of EXP Dungeon Hell... she is a real pain to max.

just here to ask if Gentle Breeze Magatama is working. Cuz i know some mags in game are actually not working i just want to make sure berofe i waste my time crafting it.

Already have the gold lineup costumes,so gold is out & manage to get the last underware,since I already have the 3 of them,but red lineup now gone too so maybe that's why it popped out platinum.(IDK)

I just saw on wiki ougi magnifying curse for wand. According to a player who wrote a guide on wands, it's not going to happen.

Has it been released in the Japanese version though? Really want to see what it looks like in game.

Umm... when Lis_ linked that video in the guide, I believe it was intended to be more along the lines of "nobody is going to use this skill, I'm not going to bother reviewing this joke skill, etc" rather than it not being released... The skill comes on Sheryl's Magnifying Glass.

Sheryl was an NPC that had a short quest line involving searching dungeons for her pet cat, Kamaboko. The player is rewarded with a few gacha tickets and that weapon. I believe Sheryl is a crossover character from an anime. She was removed from the game in 2015, but players who started her quest can still summon her as a partner from the Guest tab. And players who still have Sheryl's Magnifying Glass can naturally equip it. I never finished the quest line, but one of my alts has the magnifying glass if you're that interested in the skill.

Any1 here knows where to put stats points on Gargoyle?
Haven't touched her yet,but I leveled her up to 43 yesterday.
Also what are those in the wep icon that you have to pay 3.1m ryou(oc) to fix or something like that?
In simple terms I need a guide on Gargoyle,before I start messing up again!

Personally, I would give her as much MND as she needs to cast the skills you want her to use, then max vit. Unless you actually want to have her attack things, which might go better than it would with other partners since she can get ATK from weapons you equip with her with.

As far as I can tell, the weapon lock feature simply locks the currently equipped weapon to her and increases its ATK bonus a bit. I doubt anyone will bother equipping her with 9 locked Reverence III odachis to watch her kill stuff, but who knows, maybe she's actually OP like that.

Gargoyle is very squishy and her AI is absolutely terrible. Unless you have recently attacked something that isn't dead, she will just stand there and not even heal herself as she gets hit. Even if you have hit something recently, she will often stand next to the enemy for 10 seconds between skill attempts, and getting hit interrupts most of her skills. At level 100 with 100 vit and her 50k heal, she still consistently died within 1 minute of being on the same field as Visul Odin. And it takes more than 150 energy to farm enough EXP Ticket III's to get her one level in the 90's. Oh, and I completely forgot to mention this: there is a one hour cooldown to summon her again whenever she dies. At level 90, I could easily go through 10 prayer crystals and still not manage to have her to use one skill on me! So ridiculous. But her attack buffs can be OP if you are lucky enough to receive them without her getting interrupted or outright killed by the mandatory presence of something close by that is trying to eat her face.
