for the markers, you click the x in the right side of screen on quests and the markes disappear. problem solved.
there isnt a difficultly spike, its a level issue. i experienced this when i went to ofast in main story and was trying to kill lv 14 stuff as level 7. you have to grind more and do the side quests.
the hit boxes.. well... whatever.

The exp rates wouldnt be an issue if the monsters and weaponry were lower. Either the exp needs an increase or the latter needs a decrease, otherwise this game is purely a grinding game starting lvl 7/8. That is the fundamental issue with this beta so far. The hitboxes are f'd up as well, along with various other bugs, but you can go around that by dodging one second earlier than you would have.
Also, this game should have trading. I heard that it was going to be a pay to use kind of thing and if so then I will watch this game burn to the ground because that is ridiculous.
