This is legitimately one of my favourite parts of the game - Enhancing can go so far that a Lv5 weapon is still very useful in Lv35 dungeons. And you can just keep enhancing it higher so long as Yoshitsune is leveled enough and you have enough gold to spend on it(and you're lucky enough)

One of the things that really sucks with a lot of MMOs(or games in general, really) is finding a really cool looking weapon, and then having to switch it out two hours later because you need this new one to do enough damage. It's a really nice way to prevent that from happening

You may also enjoy Dragon Nest or S4 League, two other action-based MMOs with graphic styles that resemble those of anime.

I played Aura Kingdom it has great graphic but the combat was basically point and click, occasionally avoiding the AOE.

Onigiri 's combat is way better being action-based, more intense and not just spamming skills. The partner system is similar to the eidolon system, with a bit more content and that they are also your shop npc.

The story is as interesting as Aura Kingdom, with monsters focus on japanese folklore not seem in many MMOs.

TERA being the only other action based MMO i played, i would say yes, this MMO is good.

The single feature that will make this game is that it is ACTUALLY a legitimate MMORPG.

Not a bullshit MMO with "RPG" elements that pretends it has a story and what not, but an actual RPG with MMO elements. Maybe this should be called a RPGMMO instead of a MMORPG...

You have friends/allies that actually converse with you (with their own back stories, personalities, interactions with each other, etc that progress with you through the story) and are actually enjoyable. This is quite different from most (all?) other MMO's who have very cookie cutter, simple NPCs who you'll "talk" to for 10-30 minutes until you've completed their area then you'll forget about them..

Heck, even some non-party NPCs in this game have more personality and relevance than most MMOs (Kii-chan, as I forget his full name, and the 2nd town's chief or the geographer that you meet after completing each area/act).

Otherwise, the game is pretty good; it has plenty of flaws of course, the action-combat isn't horrible but it isn't spectacular. There are MMOs that do it better but this doesn't do it horribly either, I'd give it a 7/10 there, which is fine as it makes up for this in many other aspects that Onigiri tries to do differently... like crafting and weapons (as someone mentioned with enhancing, thank god as I've always preferred games with enhancing-based mechanics over "make this shitty weapon that you MIGHT possibly use for half a level before you find a better one").

Ultimately though, this MMO is good if you enjoy an actual RPG and would like a MMO experience with it ('course you can solo this too which is nice). What will make or break this game at this point is the cash shop and/or exp curve. If either one is too disastrous and ridiculous, I can see the game being disbanded by the players pretty quickly. If that doesn't occur (hopefully), at the very least I can see this being a cult-game with a decent to strong fanbase, probably composed of Otakus, people who enjoy action games (granted they'll prob stick to other games), and those who actually want a story or game with life.
