Power Character: Pure of Hybrid?

Which is wiser? Spending all your stat points on "power" only or distributing them evenly between "power" and "vit"?

IT a easy question it's best to dump it all in 1 skill place but if you want to be balanced and work as a solo player I recommend a even build but I'm a dmg Hog I love all those number so I go for the dump everything option. If I were balanced what's the use of using items or having a healer or tank on a team?

I planned to build pure damage dealer as well. I just heard some people say that mobs in much higher level (>30) can kill me in 1 hit if I neglect the "vit" stat and I can't always dodge perfectly. I wonder if that's the case.

From my experience of the first 24 levels, it seems like it depends on your play style.

If you plan on playing solo, you definitely want to balance out your stats a bit. You can mono-stat a solo run but you need really good dodging skills and patience, and it helps to know how to abuse the game (I had to abuse a lot of mechanics in Kyoto to get through some of the content). It'd really depend on the fighting style of your character though.

My solo character will be a mix of power and dexterity so I can get more full damage from swords and bows. If you wanted to stay melee, power+vitality would be good, or dexterity+vit would be good if you wanted some durability. I'm not familiar with the magic stats so I don't know.

If you plan on partying a lot, it'd be better to just focus on one stat to get the most damage out of whatever weapon you plan on maining; that's because with parties, you'll typically have someone (optimally) who can heal/buff/etc everyone and it's easier to spam skills and kill things quickly before they kill you. Or at least spread out the SP/skills which makes offense more optimal than survival, a good offense becomes the best defense. Plus it's easier to manipulate enemies and use guerrilla tactics with multiple people aggroing constantly.

This skewed system arises out of the way the weapons interact with your stats; I can't say it's the best system but it is more innovative than the typical "this one stat increases your damage, this stat only increase hp" etc.

Imo start full power, and start investing small amounts into a secondary stat around level 3x, seeing as how it takes like 9 stat points per level QAAQ
Selling all of my gear for ~40% of its market value!
~4 lv. 108 to 115 weapons remaining
Some skill card 7's, ougi, orna'd maga and other stuff too!

I have a power+vit+mind character now. Although I primarily use spear for dat aoe, and staff for heals. Both which are great for soloing hell dungeons.

Power stat was useful in a situation when I needed a ranged skill that I only found on Katanas, such as Blue Fang for use against a boss that had uninterruptible melee with long range(Yatsukazou).

Other than that though, there was no reason to put points into power since it was a unintentional mistake.

If you're soloing with a POW character, I went 40/40/10 POW/VIT/WIS
POW for the damage
VIT for the HP/DEF
and a little bit of WIS for healing(Although it seems to effect healing others more than healing yourself)
