Neon is just some random troll. He's been on for hours just talking trash to everyone. Not just about levels. He was going on and on earlier about white supremacy and yelling out white power etc as well. I saw him outside of Sakurajima Dungeon talking trash to people. Then I came back hours later and he was still there on a different channel doing the same thing. I saw this thread and came back ingame as I was afk around there in channel 1 and scrolled through chat and saw him still at it. Says stuff like he knows the GMs. Nobody's gonna do anything. etc. Really is just randomly insulting. He needs an IP ban so he doesn't remake and plague Open Beta.

Don't let people like that get to you.

I frapsd the chatbox of that 1 conversation because there is just too much spam to screenshot. Might upload it later if anyone wants. But it's late atm and don't have the time. Edit: opened up chatbox all the way up and took screenshots. Guess it wasn't as much screenshots as expected.

Things would be a lot better if there was a block function, so that we could just ignore junk like that more easily.

I met this Neon guy too actually... chatted with him for like 20 minutes where he tried to pull the "I'm an Alpha player and higher level than you and I know a gm" card on me too. He had a pretty interesting change in personality the moment I informed him that I too was an alpha player, nearly 7 levels above him, and seen and spoken to GMs 3 times in game. Honestly, I don't like him. Tries to look down on everyone from what I've seen. Don't let that soil your impression of alpha players though, as there's quite a few who can be pretty nice. I know for a fact that if I'm not busy trying to do something (Recently it's been trying to clear a new character through Kyoto) I will run back through all the major choke points (Kishinden, Tiamat, etc.) and clear people through those dungeons so they can keep playing. Most of the alpha players I've met were too busy this cbt rushing to Kyoto and that's probably why you met only the rotten eggs. ._.

It's unfortunate that you've met some alpha players who constantly bark with their over-exaggerated egos and I can definitely say that I can feel your disappointment in them. However, there are some alpha players who can be quite genuine and kind.

I agree though with what some people have said about these foul players before: never let them get in your head.

Personally, I feel sorry for them for bragging and looking down on people like that. It makes me think that they all have inferiority complexes and what not (hence their constant need to gloat and make a name for themselves).

But at the same time, I think there might be some people who are utterly lifeless and bored out of their lives that they'd do things like attempting to burn the world just to see what would happen. I think we have a name for those types of people but I can't put my finger on it... what was it? Trolls? The Joker?

Either way, just be yourself, stay positive and remain calm... but be modest at all times, because no one likes another bragger. If you feel pissed off to the point that you're going to put rage messages and angry complaints, then you're letting them win. I know this is hard for some people because of their "already assumed" personality, but at least try not to cause any more trouble by adding on to any widely-known negative situations with more negativity (unless of course, you're one of them yourself, then in my case no one is stopping you until they've all worked on a solution to eliminate you).

As for me, I try to question these kinds of people about their actions and their reason behind it, kinda get to know them a bit in a well-civilized manner. But if it fails, I just simply stop caring for them.

Anyway, just throwing in my few cents, but I hope this post helps you in some way.

I do know that not everyone is like him oh yeah...he was an adult that is not "Virgin" and earn "$86000" a year.
Why does he need to lie so hard??
There's another Alpha player, i wont mention his name since i think that, maybe its not his intention for hurting people.
This alpha player was at kishinden too, and he was saying "You guys should faster get your ass to kyoto and grind at the Dragon spire, there's only 1 boss and take only 10 sec you can get 1k exp, so you will have 80k exp in 1 hour", I am not born yesterday....please be more honest and stop lying.

But still, now that i know that alpha players can dislike another alpha player, i think your one of the good alpha player i will consider . @Ryxa Keep up !

Actually, I do not believe that player was lieing.

There is actually a super efficient grind spot like that in Kyoto, though its not the dragon spire.
