The lack of keybinding is a bit annoying, but not a huge deal if they were well place.

My main concern is weapon switching, the way it is currently done is fine for controller but it is very disruptive towards PC user. They need a keybind for weapon swapping, since moving the mouse to do it causes me to constantly lift my mouse to readjust the mouse position in coordinates to the cursor on the screen. I play with a high sensitivity mouse, so moving my mouse 1.5 inch is enough to get my mouse cursor from one end of my display to the other end, but within the game, it could barely detect the mouse movement during weapon selection unless I move a significant distance.

It wouldn't be a problem for me if I can use the arrow keys to select my weapon while holding the 'f' key, since I can easily create a macro keybind on my mouse for better efficiency. Even then, it is still prefer to have a single keybind for weapon swapping.

---

Camera Zoom keeps changing constantly when moving in between maps, forcing me to fix my camera zoom constantly.
Skill description lacks the exact range information to let us know the max distance we can be to attack our target. Furthermore, being able to rearrange the skills order on our weapon will help tremendously.

--

The others thing I will like to see is support for larger resolutions, and chat filter. My chat window is flooded with so much item pickup and exp gain, that I don't notice any other chat or anything that is going around me invites.

The whole chat system is pretty bad and slow. For example, those of us who can type very fast, it is faster if we can type "/w someplayer our message" in whatever chat mode we are in to send a whisper, while having /r is faster for replying to the last person who whisper us.

There's a need for more advance graphic settings. A big part of optimizing the game to enjoy is, is in the fine adjustment of the graphic settings. For example, I hate the glow effects, so I often would disable it. It is just better to allow user to adjust the graphic settings themselves.

Would also like our tutorial to be replaced wit the JP one just for that extra exp.
Wish our partners made random comments while adventuring. Outside of the story and interacting with them in town they are basically pets that aren't very useful since there damage is pretty crap.

I wouldn't mind if they kept some of the things from the JP version out of this one. Here its 3 points to up a stat once you reach 25 in a stat it goes to 4 per stat up, in the JP version it goes 4 stat up at 22.
Assuming these exp rates stick. JP has the easier leveling but US has the easier smelting and better stat distribution.

While running around on the JP ver. I came across a Morizou that was gigantic but it was only 2 lvls higher then the normal ones. I couldn't actually see if its name was any different since the guy was so tall he went off screen. Would be nice to see tougher versions of monsters spawn occasionally.

i saw that Giant Morizou in our CBT aswell :D but he's nothing special :P
In the end, everything turns to Darkness. You are no different. Now die...

Found the clothes for sale in the JP cash shop.... (Couldn't moonrune enough to find them for sale anywhere else)

Male Clothes
Male Underwear
Female Clothes
Female Underwear

Just saying, in addition to seeing all of these in the EN version, I would like to see some of the clothing options have variants (or the option to be worn as is) for the other gender... Like samurai armor or that Tengu outfit for women or the archer outfit for men

Also, a first-person mode for taking screenshots.

Edit: And maybe a way to change your idle stance with weapons. So we can have something like these

Something more... "professional" and personalized to the player rather than what we currently have.

If you have a skill with too high a rank without some damage prerequisite it will end up doing less damage than lower ranks. As a pure Dex character, my First Aid I heals ~100 while my First Aid II heals ~60.

Got to 40 WIS (pushed to 42 just to be sure) today aaaaaand nope, Landmine Flame III still deals half its supposed damage; should be doing 8xx+6xx damage to these Daruma, but it's doing 4xx+3xx damage instead. Either the Skill Force listed is a lie (254 at lv1, 312 at lv30; currently 280 at lv14) or my estimates are wrong; but with Fireball II being at a far lower Force (141 at lv1, 179 at lv20) but doing more damage than Landmine Flame III, the former seems more likely than the latter.

Unless I should try getting 50+ WIS for a Rank III skill, which is, frankly, ridiculous.

edit: I'm tired of correcting, for now

I as a magician who arrived at Kyoto, solo, at level 20, at first time in this game, I'd like to see:

 1st a better balance for the Wand
go as a mage that CBT was complicated, since besides I do not do much damage with the skills, the SP ended very fast, which forced me to use a backup weapon only to regenerate SP (another Wand or Staff) and I barely had abilities of Wands I found available as an option, it was just Fireball , one of wind and Evade warp up to level 19
basically wish we had more options skills at the beginning, as well as maintaining a small part of the regeneration of SP while attacking and equipped with a wand / staff, more skills distributed among the initial and generic weapons and no repetition on the same weapon (i found a wand with 2 Warp Evade of different levels)
oh, and also, reduce the SP cost of offensive abilities by 30%, because 100 base sp to use Electric bolt III, and I have only 260 SP is too much ...

 2nd Some skills that I found in the game... using them do not wear out the weapon,, like Energy Ball (staff), Evade Warp (wand) ... but, we cannot upgrade them in Momotarou because that ones can't be leveled up because they do not have any target to be used
as a solution, could only gives experience if you use in combat (being attacked, or in party and one member is attacked...), instead of at any time (which would prevent them evolve in a safe zone, like in the city)

 3rd the lack of Magatamas offering bonus for users of Wands and Staffs at lower levels is uncomfortable, to the point that by not having options (which by the way, I did most of the quests available until level 20, before arriving in Kyoto) and only Magatamas able to choose was between defenses types and one who gave 200 attack (generic offensive), while swords and bows were full options, to such a degree as Wands had just been placed in the game right now

 4th the system of enhancement options of weapons is somewhat strange and expensive, the option as putting "randomly change a skill for another random at the same level or higher" ... no one will use it because it is RNG² for a permanent modification, after all, you will only upgrade one weapon if, at least, you choose this one because of 1 or 2 abilities
in addition to lowering the relative value of the options (like 30-50%), this option could change now that I spoke to one of these two: "choose one of the skills you want to exchange a random another of the same level or lower" or restricted from level 30+ "choose a skill that you wish to exchange for another which of these listed options you want to place, however, this skill level will be reset".
and as addition, put one more option to choose what kind of bonus we get if the Smelting work (like magical defense, SP cost reduction, huge additional durability (something like +50%), cooldown reduction...)

 5th place a very difficult quest that can be repeated 1 time per month, which allows players to acquire a way to reset your attributes, or at least ... allow the player to purchase this item for cash
this is to prevent the player himself has to deal with the fact of having to make another character, just because he missed something or he just did not like the play style of the "chosen class"

 6th even if the trading system is restrictive, allow players who have Onigiri Coins (OC) in-game currency that can do transactions with other players who do not have cash, allowing them to create a new form of commerce where players who can not or will not pay to get OC may otherwise acquire, just by playing
(by the way, it worked well in other games, like Warframe, Dofus, Spiral Knights...)
who has OC, takes what he wants for convenience (Ryo|credits|gold..., weapons, magatama, recipes...)
who has not OC, you can try offering to acquire OC from those who have the cash you need

 7th its true that the game has its adaptations for Xbox controls, but I wish we could put more hotkeys associated with some commands for those using keyboard such as "call / remove the companion", "drink the liquor that is on hand at the moment," "choose which weapon you want to use without having to use the" f + mouse ", like arrow keys"...

 8th game should have a better tutorial to explain about the weapons, since the early part, the game almost instigates us to use the sword, instead of remembering that we have Spear, Bow, Wand ... among others that we do not have on hand in time
after all, is not common one game in which your class is determined by the weapon, instead of your character, this can reflect a lot of players in the population, where several of them use the same weapon, not have exactly been their real choice

 9th tab skills should have a greater focus on the skills of the weapons are equipped, instead of following the current order

 10th (it's more a hint than anything) offer something in the game that serves as a differential beyond the history, and that, is not something that depends a lot of your arsenal
had a game (FlyFF) I played a while that had a system of "progressive class system" (start like everyone else, take a option in the 1st moment and then choose a specialization in a 2nd moment), but he failed in the fact that we did not do anything other than to keep picking level to see some loose stuff and did not have much to do other than to keep picking level in a ridiculously slow grind level
at least due to several faults, either by him directly depend on the fact of updates sent from Korea (and they coming very slowly) or the fact that the game was very attached to Cash in order to progress in the game, he collapsed three years after having arrived in Brazil, despite the international still keep running
the idea is, in few words: if a player is having trouble continuing the game, he had something else to do, instead of fight, so it does not simply give up

 11st we could have another weapon with a hybrid approach between tanker and offensive, like brass knuckles?
could be a weapon that would use 2 attributes: dexterity and strength (vigor as optional), where each combination would change the style of combat between blows in the area and deal with several enemies or facing one opponent at a time

well... is enough for me, for now
excuse me for a few mistranslations
and congratulations to those who had the patience to read all

It'd be nice for party members to have specific hotkeys to lock on party members. Trying to find that one dude that's low HP in a mob is pretty hard, especially if other party members join the fray.

1. Graphic Options - Kyoto takes 1 minute and a half to load, and that's a bad thing if you are grinding one of it's dungeons.

2. Better Quest/Monster Information - The information from quests is sometimes vague, stating what item to collect but won't state what monster to hunt it from, and although there are arrows pointing to where you should go, they sometimes don't appear. Also, when hunting monsters enough to 100%, thereby showing what their drops and weaknesses are, they should also list where they are commonly found. I forgot where a Sunset Sticky hangs out until I helped a couple of guys in clearing Tiamat.

3. Better AI Partners - Shizuka kept attacking a Crystal that was way out of her range during my "failed" attempt at Odin.

4. More options in the character creation menu - More starting clothes, ability to change their colors, etc.

5. Emoticons - Yes, seriously.

6. Dating Sim with AI Partners - JK JK JK
Playing this game at my own pace.

Personally I'd like for the NPC's to actually do some damage in dungeons.

They don't have to be horribly overpowered, but they seem to become useless barely past the start.

What I want is the ability to have my character sit when using the controller. As it is, the only way I can get my character to sit is to disable the controller, hit L, and then re-enable the controller. As to why the game doesn't let me just hit L? I don't know. That is something I would like to see the most aside from features the JP version has.

Edit:
I also would like to set partner's targeting. Maybe being able to set them to auto choose targets, or attack your target. Because as it stands it can be annoying to have them not attack anything unless if you attacked it. Especially when you are replying a dungeon where you can basically 1 shot most things. Though having it as an option would be nice.
