I kind of hope guns don't come to this game. I don't really mind them, it's just that they were added to Mabinogi and Aion and seeing guns as the next new thing is getting a bit old ._.;

I've seen them come to other games as well, so they aren't anything particularly new either, though I understand that others like them. It's not that I don't like them (well, chainsaw katana has no appeal to me, other than for a joke) it's that every game seems to have the same exact content sooner or later. *shrugs* I'm not really saying we shouldn't have them, more that I'd like to see something different. Though that's understandably hard when there isn't much out there that hasn't already been done. That's just my opinion, though. If we get them, and other people get enjoyment out of them, that's perfectly fine with me. I'd probably pick up a lightsaber just for kicks.

Here's an idea, they should totally get a gun that transforms targets into kuala bears that hug other enemies tightly , binding them.. or exploding on command. Bet that wins points on the innovation scale!

If they add guns they should add an FPS mode.

When you say pistol, what comes to mind is Samurai Warriors Masamune Date. He's portrayed with a pistol. Also, Ryōma Sakamoto was portrayed in a couple anime I've seen (Peace Maker Kurogane and Shura no Toki) with a pistol. The style of Onigiri is sorta similar to Samurai Warriors with the hack n slash, so I can see how it would work out as well.

But yea, first thing that comes to mind is this guy

Cannons maybe? but only to look at them, not use them or maybe use them to break some stone wall etc.. that would be epic.

I'd say adding musket pistol will work so long as there like the bow better a better fire rate for holding two of them. Meaning if they add the bows works into pistol they might be playable and evenly matched with other weapons. Always got to think of balance though I think agility and also mind should apply to using pistols would be a good weapon for ppl branching out to be a hybrid
