Hell, instead of worrying if we can log out or not, we should worry if we can log in or not

In the alpha i reached lv5 because i got bored of the grinding. In the CBT i got to lv8 before i got bored from grinding again. Im in for grinding if its balanced. Im sure im not the only one who feels that. I get easaly bored if i have to grind 50 times 1 dungeon so i can level up and advance in the story.

If you really played alpha, you wouldn't be feeling this way.

Alpha had exp rates that did not require any grinding.

I'm fine with the exp rates. It never really bothered me in OBT.

I'm probably not complaining about it since many of the people here seemed to come from JP. If I had any knowledge from playing mmos by region, a japanese/korean server will always be different than the overseas servers.

Especially because I played JP, I feel like the exp rates should be lower.

You know how our current content cap is (supposedly) Kaga? I got there in 2 days or something like that in JP, and I wasn't even going hard on it.

^This. Alpha exp rates were really close to if not exactly the same as the JP rate. No grinding at all and you didn't start falling behind the levels of dungeons until mid-late Kyoto or so. If you actually played alpha and got bored of "grinding" around level 5 you should just stop playing MMO games period.

I want the exp rate raised at least a bit simply because I don't like large amounts of grinding. Boring and time consuming for me. Not to mention even with JP rates you will start falling behind anyway. Then again you don't actually need to grind in this game since the quests are not being dicks by blocking you off with a minimum level. The low exp rate + high level dungeons are probably pretty brutal for new players though as it makes the game very unforgiving which could cause a lot of new players to quit.
Alpha: Level 37 alpha clearer

I don't know how people can argue for lower exp rates... is grinding really that fun for you?

Is finishing the game in like 20 hours that fun for you?

I think I'd enjoy a 20 hour game over a 200 hour game with 20 hours worth of content.
