Isn't that just a little weird? Why can't we use gacha tickets (I have 2...) to spin for the idol gacha? They are usable on every other gacha except that one :/

ETA: Also where the heck are the new years event npcs?

Pretty sure it has something to do with the fact that the new gacha has the ougi 4 cards in it while the others don't. It's likely temporary.

Ahh, I wonder if that explains why I ended up with 3 ouigis on my first roll of 5. O.o; Not that I really wanted them, I wanted the costume and didnt get it XD (yeah I can feel the hate coming from people looking for ouigis...lol)

As Ryxa suggested, it is temporary. That note was left out of the website's update information page, but there's no information when tickets will be permitted for set 1.

The new year's event NPC's won't appear until Dec. 31. I'm assuming the update information was incorrect. It said "Starting from now, we are glad to announce the New Years Event in Onigashima 2015!" but on another page on the official website says the NPCs don't appear until Dec. 31 in the event details. So my guess is that they forgot to add the event drops (as they did with the sugar cane during the yukata event) or the event as a whole doesn't start until the 31st.
