Wow it worked, even with my old Onigiri client from my other Pc by using this method = it's totally workin.

Is it not downloading updates anymore when you open the game?

If it was or if it's still downloading updates since the time you last posted your screenshot, then you can either...

Choice A
- Open pkgstatus.json with WordPad or a source code editor like Notepad++ (Not regular Notepad because it might open up weird).
- Edit the lines...

- Download and extract https://www.mediafire.com/?4rd69w00svpu6q4
- Move the locale_us-0026.kxr file inside the uslocale_pkgfiles folder into your pkg folder
- Move your locale_us-0024.kxr somewhere else, like to your desktop
- Try logging in (and hopefully you should be able to play while the updates continue downloading).
Choice B
- Wait for all updates to finish downloading
- Do what I said on my third post here.

But if it's not downloading updates when you open the game...
- Close all programs
- Uninstall Onigiri
- Restart Computer
- Delete your Onigiri game folder
- Delete C:\Users\< Your Username >\AppData\Roaming\cobra (it's a hidden folder so you might have to change your Folder settings from Control Panel... except I don't know if this folder even exists on Windows 8 or how to show hidden folders on Windows 8 ><)
- Reinstall Onigiri (either with Full installer or Client)
- Launch Onigiri
- Leave it on the login screen to finish downloading updates
- If it's still showing ERR_01002 (Incorrect client version), do what I said on my third post here.

Now let's see just how many wet-behind-the-computer-ears newbies and surfers who just want to turn the key and take Onigiri for a spin take to first tinkering around 'neath the hood! No solution for Onigiri user-friendliness and self-promotion, that's for sure! To have to do all this just to play makes this game a techie's toy.

Delete C:\Users\< Your Username >\AppData\Roaming\cobra hidden folder.
Then do Disk Cleanup and check mark everything (just to be sure ><).
Extract the locale_us-0026.kxr and pkgstatus.json into the pkg folder again.
Try logging in.

Now, I'm at my wit's end.
You can try this 15+ hour reinstall and see if it might work. If it doesn't work, at this point I'd normally consider switching to another MMO or reformat my computer and reinstall the game if I'm desperate.

The location of where u install Onigiri is also important...
My friend had the same issue on why the "locale_us-0026.kxr" kept bein replace with "locale_us-0024.kxr"...
He ask me to visit him and try helpin him solve this issue when i manage to solve mine...
He installed his Onigiri at "D:\Onigiri_US", but when I switch the location of his Onigiri to Default "C:\CyberStep\Onigiri_US" then replacin "locale_us-0026.kxr" and "pkgstatus.json"(Do not to forget to delete "cobra" folder)...
it works and he manage to enter...
Dunno if it will work with everyone...

If u hav someone nearby tht hav their Onigiri workin, copy their "Onigiri_US" folder and the "cobra" folder and paste it at the same location...
