Just wow... It seems like this Naduron person doesn't read anything that is posted except what he wants to read so I'm done. Enjoy your level 10 staff and keep complaining when you're just gimping yourself and that is your problem.

I know a better solution so you wont need to post here anymore, log in and test it yourself!
equipt a staff from lvl 10 and a lvl 40+ staff with the same ability rank.
It takes 10sec, so just log in and DO IT.. and stop posting.
Cause why shoud i waste my time on recording a vid and uploading it on youtube?

Because I've already tested it several times?

Here ya go, I used attack magatama as an replacement for changing staves.

It literally has the EXACT SAME EFFECT because that's all changing a weapon would do if you had the exact same skills. Note that I don't have the mind threshold to heal even higher, or else the attack boost would have had a larger effect.

Here OP, where's your proof that Attack does nothing to heals? Here's my proof that it does.

We are arguing about trivial shit when the real issue is....

EXP rate! But namely for this topic let's focus on the exp rate for party members NOT scoring the kills, where you mostly won't if you are a support character.

I'm just gonna come out and say it... why in the fu- fudgesticks is it less than half?

At this rate Oodachi users will have the crown on exp, followed by spears, followed by the rest. Like.... I'm at a loss for words. This game (I enjoy it, don't get me wrong) literally discourages team play.

Unfortunately for most game designer, they never or rarely consider treating healer restoring player's health as experience, and only damaging foes as experience. Out of all the MMORPGs I've played since 2003, I've only vaguely recall one of the MMORPG gives exp to healers for healing their teammates. But to be fair, many of the classic MMORPG have exp split fairy among team members, whereas more of the modern games offset most of the experience points to whoever does more damage or kill the mob or whoever is higher level to prevent leechers from progressing too fast. Unfortunately this is very harmful to support classes as it slow down their progression.

Well this was a problem with me earlier but I've started to help DPS and now this isn't as big an issue. Only thing that's hard is my damage is very SP based and I wish my recovery was greater.

You should be aiming for as high attack as possible as shown above, it will help with your heals. And while you do this, your damage increases as well of course.

Right now in parties I help DPS and when someone needs SP, I send an invigorate to them and when someone needs a heal I send a heal out to them. My EXP was bad at the start when I didn't have much DPS but with skills like Rolling Thunder, Chase Blister and Soul Strike, my DPS is quite strong.

I can kill as fast as most Odachi users around my level(27) my weapon average is 180 Atk and I'm bow/twin. Granted I ish bery squishy.
Exp for non kills are limited since you didn't kill it. Not sure if you get full or even more than minimum if you deal some kind of damage. If you do then Do an AoE do deal a few damage then go back to your Heals. Also Over all this game doesn't limit you to one "class" So if you put stats equally across the board you can fill any "role" granted your not as great as pure builds but you can do a little of everything. If you are hell bent on not making any damage or making any kills then that's on you. You have 4 weapon slots and able to use any type of weapon at any time. So go try to kill something. Use A wand(Or a staff which ever one is the offensive weapon) since as far as I know they are both based on Mnd.


As for something Healing related I heal myself if I have Spare SP before a portal since SP resets after going to one. So my question: Since I have really not put anything into Mnd... Would I heal my self more if I use Sanctuary then switch to my main weapon compaired to Spamming First Aid I or do I need Mnd?
