Not "Purity Magatama" but the stat Purity. Each matagama has a "Purity" value which I have no clue what it does

Not necessarily, we're not sure at which levels skills can be extracted but for skills above rank I having max level isn't a prerequisite for extraction, instead it seems that you need to have enough levels for the extraction to subtract (for example, extracting rank II skills removes 14 levels from the skill and grants you a skill card.)

Not entirely sure. Monsters in hard / hell dungeons drop Magatama that have a required level up to 8 levels below them (the level of the monsters, not the recommended levels), so try dungeons like that I suppose.

The skill is not removed from the weapon, instead the skill gets reset to level 1 without other consequences. Note that skill levels aren't bound to weapon but rather are the same throughout.

The 4th and 5th skill slots are for Ougi, which are more powerful skills that you can get through Nyankoropon.

JP Wiki says Cave of Nakisawame and Ooikazuchi Cavern. No, it usually isn't worth it to enhance weapons of high rarity unless they are late game weapons- in this content cap, 60+ weapons. This is because a low level weapon with high rarity will soon be outclassed by a weapon of higher level, even if it is of white (enhancable but no icon) rarity.
