Onigiri is P2w game

In mabinogi, unless you're constantly in a party, it is mandatory to purchose pet to enjoy the game. I have 4 char and over 12 or more pets (with custom ai) in that game. But to be honest, I had no problem investing in Mabinogi when it first launched. The rebirth card was hardly a reason for me to dislike the game due to the drastic benefit and it was not really require.

Onigiri isn't really P2W, but it does have a feeling of desparation for income. I can't really say I'm encourage to invest in Onigiri. There is also the fact that some of my closes friends and close gaming friends were curious to try out Onigiri since I was playing it, all uninstall the game the day after saing it does not feel like a game they see themselves still playing in the future and telling me to wait on Archeage instead. Friends I've made in the game, seem to vanish as well. I do see myself playign the game solo casually though.

no this is not p2w this is p2b( PAY TO BRAG), p2w only applies to games with pvp features not pvm. the only benefit you get from paying in this game is the fact that you can brag about your items , your level advantage above others and achievments (ex. i killed this monster easily, look max upgrade etc. and yes i paid to be able to do that faster than everyone ) and more, gained from spending real money versus the majority of players who is playing for free.

Currently there is gacha only things/OC only things and boosts. For it to NOT be P2W we need to be able to acquire these items/boosts without paying a cent but you know that's an idealist F2P game.

You see if we could actually say trade or sell the thing in the cash shop it would be a different story but alas it doesn't work that way.
What makes it P2W is gacha only thing like Ougi skills which are skills not time savers like 400% boosts.

Also on side notes this game has the highest priced gacha's i've ever seen. Seriously 5 bucks for a roll.... I recall most if not all game I played have it between 1~2 dollars USD not 5 >.>

as far as i've seen for playin bout like 4 days, you can obtain OC's ingame via the point exchange thingy.. and you could like farm those said points via lucky box items and shiz.. i mean how hard could it be playin a free-to-play game where you can farm your OC, slow but at least you can farm em.... and O_O cmon still better than PSO2 where you need to get a cs item just to be able to sell stuff to people, for the gacha prices, meh have you seen DN?! those are overpriced my friend..

when one playing a game that considerably young ,you shouldn't ask too much,since it's still early and this is CS NA we are talking about

one of the main selling point of onigiri for is the story,cutscenes,dubbing (and all for free)
gosh i even spending alot time to grind partnership items,rather than finding weapon/exp
let see, 400% boost? ougi skill card? costume? you can still play this without it,got no time to grind? don't complain like a baby,at least complain like a professionall,even i just take it easy,and i am asian *slapped

P2W? P2W what? You paid money to do what? theres no pvp in this game, there is no competition, its just a game of exploration and grinding to experience the world. Even if there is pvp, the advantage can be overcome by grinding. The game have to make money somehow. Quit your bitching and if you enjoy mabinogi then go play that, no one is stopping you.
