You would do no damage with spear until you're a much higher level.

And yes, that assumption is correct.

cant decide >.< dex 80 the rest in wisdom at least to 70 or dex and mind... wisdom will allow me to basically spam the crap out of skills but mind i can use idaten etc but less damage output. so anyone dex & wis VS dex & mind?

i go hibrid from lv1 and not hard at all to kill stuff

i lose some power np i can live with that when i can use more tactics and more flexibility

i can understand some ppl going pure

but i dont agree its the only way

It's not the only way, but it's certainly the optimal base choice, especially for people who can't think for themselves.

Lv10 Amaterasu's Nigimitama is lv 3, Sakimitama is lv 2 (Whatever that gives the additional Status points to allocate)
Magatamas: 2 skill force, amber, crit immune (not a pro so i get hit sometimes)

So based on the previous posts, If I were to use the free stat reset, I would remove the stats I add on vit and mnd and transfer to pow and continue till it maxes? As a Power type, what should be my secondary stat? Dex or Vit or 50:50?

My opinion is that you should leave vit untouched, and try and get an ornament that has... for example, crit and max hp %.

Also, only max power to 100 right away if you're lazy. Elsewise, just put points into it until your affinity is maxed.



And yes, Rufei is correct. It's not the only way, but its the best way unless you have very detailed knowledge of the game's status point mechanics, as well as the relative difficulty scaling in areas up Sekigahara, as that is likely when somewhat minor difference will become significantly less noticeable.

Player skill helps if you plan to go with a more utility-based build.

I believe the only title that gives high amounts of affinity to both a power and vit weapon is not available to us yet, so that's another point, I guess.

Hello!

I'm wondering if this works. If i pick defensive and then focus on dex and vit. Is it still possible to do high damage with odachi / axes / swords, untill later when i'll be using spears?

Edit : I was thinking using the 3 weapons in the early levels 1 - 10 and after that i'll get spear.
