First of all, I want to say thanks for the awesome guide. A lot of good information here.

I have a couple questions though:

1) Where to find the Magatama you list? I've seen a few posts about where to find Pineapple, but haven't been able to find any information on Banana or Dousetsu.

2) I'm currently using the Hosokawa Yuusai title as the guide suggests, but I was looking through the title list. There is a title (don't know the name) that gives the following:
Spear Affinity +25%
Bow Affinity +25%
Vit +3
Dex +2

The relevant differences are 5% more Affinity but 3 less Dex. Would this be better or worse than Yuusai? Its almost the same but much harder to unlock (150 levels in spear skills), but if I were bored enough to unlock it should I use it?

Banana drops from Kishinden as well, Dousetsu has been reported to drop from (Nether?) Den of Needles, 5man hell or something like that. I might edit out Dousetsu since it's so hard to get whereas critical ornamentations take less effort.

Assuming you reach exactly 3000 Affinity in both cases, Yuusai is probably slightly better since taking 3000 and removing the 25% / 20%, the one with spear affinity requires 2400 Affinity while Yuusai requires 2500. The 3 additional Dex should provide more than 100 affinity given that your Dex has surpassed 120, which is the amount required to hit approximately 2400 Affinity.

A weapon's max smeltable grade= 100?

When smelting weapons past +60, do they all've a chance to be lost? If so, is there a way to prevent this?

Is Gedoumaru the best place to farm Fail? I don't see anyone there and it's taking me a while to get some. If I do get one, it has crappy skills unlike yours with all Vs

Just get one with like Rapid Shot and White Peacock and skill evolution V it till V and V and it'll be good enough. Gedoumaru is the best place to farm it.

Sorry to bother you otonashi but i have no idea where in kaga should i farm the fuji magatama is there any dungeon in particular that has a better chance and what level should the enemies be if possible please and thank you for the wonderful bow guide

Eh? So I need to find a Fail with those skills that CAN be evolved? Doesn't skill evolution not work on all skills and require some sort of yellow border? Been farming Gedoumaru for a while and got only a total of 4 Fails

Skill evolution V when smelting will forcibly rank up the lowest rank skill even if the skill does not have a double/triple border and can not be normally evolved by Momotarou.
