How to see which weapon can be Skill Evolutioned by Momotarou?

You can't make just any skills go past rank V. To answer which skills as well as the second part of your question, read this.

Yes, and using Skill Change when smelting a weapon with a rank VII skill, as the rank VII skill can produce other skills of rank VII.

They aren't worth using with any weapon.

Probably still worth something, as you can't get rank VI and above skills through smelting. The value of rank VI Magatama should increase over time as more weapons with only rank VI and above (3 Gacha'd Skill Cards + Ougi) are made.

How to defeat Benkei in challenge mode for mage/wand (i'm lv.39, he is lv.50) ? Because of this Benkei my challenge mode is stuck

I have defeated Benkei in normal dungeon (solo), and know the strategy for it to always melee attack me ( it hurts less than his lightning balls ) -_-*. I just go near him and attack at melee range. And he's not going anywhere only always go for combo attack which is easy to evade.

BUT, in Challenge mode, Benkei has become a cowardly robot -_-, everytime I go near him and attack relentlessly, he just go to backside (his back leap are HUGE), and throws Multiple Lightning Bolts which struck me -> dead meat. Mage doesn't have lunge step like sword/odachi only evade warp which teleport backside and that doesn't help at all ...

I tried to go at the center since it seems that's the weakness, but at random intervals, his throwing lightning bolts become random and cover his center too. And that's how I'm dead -__-.. Rolling doesn't seem to help either

Melee attack => not dead still can heal till full hp.
Lightning Balls => if got hit twice => dead meat

How to tackle this Challenge-mode Benkei which has become a coward using my lowly, and no defense mage?

Please don't answer if you're using Axes/Odachi/Spear... they are very easy mode facing Benkei

Circle to his left flank when he retreats. Always make a close, counter-clockwise circle around him to maximize the cases in which you trigger his melee attacks (but don't run into them if he's doing them). Hit him when he goes into an attack animation and if you're in position to do so. This strategy applies to any weapon.

As a note, you can gain lateral movement with evade warp by facing correctly.

Thanks sir ! I didn't know that evade warp can be used that way lol . Ok I'll try this strategy tonight. And report later ;p

Just a suggestion to developer, if possible make it evade warp can be used like one of the mage boss ( I forgot his name, a hermit ). We can blink into enemies and show up at which side we want to appear and fireball! :p.

Does anyone know which specific quest gives a Nekomata Magatama? It probably has a requirement since I've never gotten the quest yet. It'd be nice if someone knows which quest it branches off to. Thanks.

I had this problem too but it seemed to be fixed after i bought some items in the normal shop. I think its more of a connection issue.
