Wow, I never though this thread has become popular in one day

Supporters are supporters
It's only people who take it for granted who think supporters are more or less leechers
Have you ever had mashed potatoes without mayo or tuna sandwiches without mayo
Uber difference
Yes.
Supporters are mayo.
They compliment the flavor
The quality of the mayo is important.
And the tuna.
lol.
. Hello buddies
. I'd like to order one plate of tuna sandwiches, both with mayo and without mayos. Ok.

Sure they can run it through by themselves but they'll be burning through potions and revivals to do so. Assuming they do run it themselves, they're not only going to be getting less EXP (because deaths are very possible when getting 2 shot is a reality) and they're also going to be running it slower. Idaten's grace means less time is spent traveling, invigorate and cures means not stopping to pot up thus faster runs happen.
That being said, I'm saying supports should not be treated the same as leechers. In fact, supports are generally worse off than leechers in almost all cases. Not only are you burning your own pots, you're using durability, missing out on the stray mobs (less exp), and you're also very liable to getting killed by stray mobs. The sight range means that there's a maximum range that supports can be at (unlike leechers who can never move a step and still be fine) so you're naturally close to the fight. Recall how I said even the carries tend to get 2 shot in SF? Yeah, supports tend to be a lower level than the carry (and far squishier because no vit) so we're prone to getting 1 shot. Now tell me how it's fair that the leechers get more exp, and be safer than the support while doing absolutely nothing.
Oh and easy way? Try soloing the content with staff skills. You're going to hate life when you try. Sure you CAN solo things but it'll take you the next hour and a half to do so. And btw, I do use a wand and I can tell you that it's far easier doing things with a wand than with a staff.
tl;dr: carries do their stuff, supports do theirs. No reason supports should have to shoot themselves in the foot for supporting, especially when leechers don't shoot themselves in the foot for leeching.
This game is totally unique, and the only game that I can see healers as leechers
.
Well, meep's point of view is correct. The game design of Onigiri.. we can't change it, unless the developers change it. No matter how hard we try. And frontliners also need those leechers, so why not? Even protesting will give nothing. But it doesn't mean that I support this kind of system though. Only I appreciate someone point of view.
Make the leeching business official by the devs, so both parties win. Both the support and the leecher has his/her benefit.

Heimarmene's point of view is also correct, we need to propose to the devs, make the "class" more differentiable by doing something like perks. Not just "type" = reliable, kind, defensive, cautious.
Adding some new attack skills to pure MIND players will be welcomed.
Adding some new buffs skills to high MND players is also welcomed.
Adding some cross-over skills which support the hybrid type is also welcomed.
---
In this game, we can be anything, anyone since there's no actual offical class though. Even as daring we can go the path of 'kind', and this applies to all. Just depend on the people playing it, does he/she want it?
Conclusion, why not make the best use of this kind of system? Since I believe in the mean time they are busy fixing bugs, adding contents, we work together to level up, both by leeching and leveraging each other.
. I prefer to solo party though :p. Unless I know who I am partying with. It's longer road, takes much more time. But well, I enjoy it
Make the 'carry' system official
Make the party system more beneficial
