How are the aramitama rewards decided? A set amount per room? Random every day?

How do you get aramitama energy back? Is it daily?

Not sure about the rewards, but they seem to be set inital prizes and then maybe randomized prizes afterwards, as for the energy, at the very least it's not daily as it's been periodically recovering for me.

I think I've gotten a few in Kishinden Hell (full pt.) and bought some in Miroku's bargains. Can someone else confirm this?

Does anyone know which specific quest gives a Nekomata Magatama? It probably has a requirement since I've never gotten the quest yet. It'd be nice if someone knows which quest it branches off to. Thanks.

The cat found between Yakumo Temple and Shinoda Forest will (after some pre-requisite quests) give you a quest for the Nekomata Magatama.
